Clean little spot, honestly one of the best salads I’ve had. Simple, fast, delicious.

The salads are fantastic! Although they are a bit on the pricey side.

A salad here is double the cost of a Chipotle bowl (without tip). For a SALAD. A TOGO salad, at that. I've gotten two different signature salads here and they were barely edible. Gas station quality, at best. Why does anyone like this place? I just don't get it. Is it the name? Is it the marketing? Someone please explain it to me.

My closest lunch option, this is my go-to about twice per week. I love the consistency of the salads. Their salad prep personnel are quite skilled. I've never had a bad bite of food. Excellent, quick service, every time. The Baker Center location often has a line out the door of their little shop, yet it never takes more than a few minutes to get through the queue. The seating area is always clean, if a bit cold and sterile, and seating is always available, what with everyone taking their salads to-go. One can also pre-order before 11 am online and skip the line. As to the salads, any of the Caesars are recommended, be it Classic, Buffalo Chicken or Buffalo Shrimp. (Kudos the Kale, Caesar! as a dad-joke variation.) Due to the proteins, the latter two are in the $13 - $15 range, but they pack a lot in the bowl. I have also enjoyed the Cowboy, the Farmer, the Caprese and once in a while mix in the Chinese Chicken. Wrap options are available, as well, as well as soup and chili, which I have eschewed. All in, this is about as good as assembly line food gets in Mpls. 3 or 4 other locations are scattered in the skyways. You'd have difficulty finding a better, faster lunch option than Green + the Grain.

Stopped by here for lunch the other day. The line was long which I have noticed if you go by any of the locations during lunch time. Decided to give it a try since I had never been and the line seemed to be moving fairly quickly.Has an assembly line ordering and payment system as is the case with many establishments of this type. The lady was knowledgeable and helped me decide on what to order. I decided to go with a wrap.It was a fairly painless process of picking what I wanted in there and then she mixed it up and put in a wrap for me. Quick service. The price wasn't terrible for lunch downtown, it feels you can barely get anything for under $15 anymore. The wrap was tasty. Fresh ingredients and well balanced. It was spicier than I was expecting but nothing outrageous. There is some seats in the place to sit and eat and open areas. Though most people were grabbing and going.I can see why there is always a long line and I would definitely trying it again when I want a light and refreshing lunch.

So worth the scavenger hunt through the subways to find!! Fresh and full of flavor. Had the Cowboy with beef tenderloin!

Most of the time I order online and then pick it up as it is close to my office. The line can be very long which is a testament to how good the salads are. Nice portions and fanastic basalmic vinegar.

The Thiccccest salad you will find in the twin cities! This place is always absolutely packed for lunch in the sky ways and for good reason! In my opinion, it’s far out performs Crisp and Green. The lettuce is finally chopped up and they put about 100 ingredients in each salad so every bite is interesting. The staff will mix it for you so everything is coated with the delicious dressing. Modern interior, always clean.

I wasn't aware you all changed your sizes, so I was excited to see the small Caprese return to its $10.50 price tag. Surprise! "Small" is now *comically* small for the cost, and the original "small" is now the "large." Should probably illustrate that better - the "New Year, New Bowl" sign doesn't exactly cut it in this situation, friends. So bummed!

I don't even care that it costs $20 for a lunch, these salads are incredible.

The best quick lunch spot downtown!! Don't be intimidated by the line - it moves quick. The team is so fast + efficient with the orders. The salads are loaded with quality ingredients. You will be full after finishing (if you can even finish). Clean and modern space, although not the greatest space to sit down and eat. Definitely recommend! Recommendations: Buffalo chicken ceaser, cowboy, thai chicken

Our team at work had been working at home for the last few years, so we had an "On-site" meeting at headquarters and the ordered Green + The Grain and gave us an option from anything on the menu. I ordered the Buffalo chicken salad with Caesar dressing. When I first picked up my plastic bowl of leafy goodness, the first thing I thought was that "This is heavy" These bowls are full to the brim and it is delicious. It is always good, when you think to yourself, "This is so full, I can almost not even mix it, I think I am going to end up shaking it to toss it." A good amount of chicken and the Buffalo sauce had the right amount of medium heat. It had the perfect amount of croutons and fixings, and the Caesar was a splendid complement to the spicy Buffalo sauce. The Caesar was tangy and just awesome. Everyone on the team said their bowls were great. I would totally recommend this place for lunch and I think there are a few around the Twin Cities now. Especially of you have a team meeting, maybe recommend them as an option.
