The food was really good. The service was fast. My only complaint is there's a lag between salad being made and being packaged and they don't really pay attention whos is whos. You have to be really aggressive about trying to grab yours or they'll hand it to someone else. Overall just a little chaotic for me.
I am a regular; probably go in at least 2 times per week; but their continues to be price increases while shrinking the amount of food you get. Recently went to one scoop of protein over two scoops and justify it saying the scoop size is bigger, but its not the same as two scoops. Also, they charge for a bag now, so a ticky tack move to improve margins. I will try other salad places and go to Green & Grain less often.
Every now and then you'll find a restaurant that just does everything perfectly—that's Green + The Grain. To start with, their salads are top notch and you can get any of them wrapped in a tortilla if you want (the Cowboy is my go-to). Do yourself a favor and grab a chocolate chip cookie at checkout too—perfectly salty+sweet and not too big.
