Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ

We went for the first time last night for a birthday celebration. It was a terrific experience!

This was our first time at this restaurant. It was fantastic! We were celebrating a birthday and the server went above and beyond. The food was excellent and the server was super helpful with ordering. Ambiance was so cool. Will def be back!

The server was friendly and gave us clear instructions how to cook meat safely. She made sure our needs were met, and we had a pleasant lunch time. Will come back again.

We came from out of town and it was such a lovely experience! The service was great, food, ambiance.

We were very disappointed this time around. We ordered several apps that did not look like the photos at all, nor what we've ordered many other times. We're told when we asked that “it's always been that way.” Ah, NO! We visit often and at many locations across the US, and the apps were definitely off. Even tasted horrible. Was not happy, especially spending over $300! It's about time we head elsewhere since these types of restaurants are now popping up everywhere. Quality has gone down!

This was a fun experience and the food was very good. The grill is round and in the middle of the table. It would be easier to cook if it were rectangular. Overall a good time and good food. The beef was especially tasty and favorite of all five of us.

So much food! We had a group of 8 and ordered 2 of the feasts for 4. Everything was delicious. The room was fairly noisy which made it difficult to hear our friends at the far end of the table; a smaller group would be fine though I think. They also have a more private table that would probably be great for larger groups. I think we could have fed 10-12 people with all the food! It was fun to try all the different grilling items and the sauces upped the flavors even more. Will definitely go back.

Samsu was an outstanding waitress. She helped us through the entire experience. It was our first time there and she helped us work through all the different steps of the evening. Definitely a new favorite restaurant and experience.

Gyu Kaku is one of our favorite places to dine. Typically, the service is excellent, however, our last visit was disappointing. We weren't checked on often by our server and had to flag him down for water refills. I never was offered a refill on my soda. We asked for containers for leftovers, but he took my salad (3/4 remaining) before I noticed. The restaurant wasn't very busy, so it was surprising to get such unfocused service. We'll definitely go back, because of the food.

Absolutely loved eating here! Our first time together for our anniversary and our server was amazing and even surprised us with a custom dessert. All the staff were super sweet, would absolutely come back here!

While the food tasted savory, the portion sizes and prices per menu item leave much to be desired.

I can hardly wait until next time! if any one area of my experience at Gyu-Kaku yesterday could be highlighted, it was the incredible service received from the entire staff at the restaurant. The entire experience at Gyu-Kaku, which was my family's Easter Sunday luncheon, made me a believer that the restaurant is the only place to go when special occassions need to be celebrated in a special restuarant. Thank you for making the day one I always will remember!

First time there for the lunch menu Thought they gave me too much rice and started to chow it down, realized they gave me a perfect amount of rice. Atmosphere was relaxed and laid back when we went. Staff were super kind

Great food! Patient & competent server. Reasonably priced for 2 people. Overall wonderful experience : )

Service with George was great. Portions feel like they have gotten smaller since opening. Would really like to see the value for the cost of the dishes improve.
