My friends and I stumbled into this restaurant when Up Down was too packed to enjoy. It happened to be my birthday weekend so I was open to trying something new. I absolutely loved our waiter. He wasn't pushy, had a sake bomb with us, was super nice and funny, and introduced me to the Peach Cosmopolitan. YUMMY! The food was delicious and the dessert was exceptional! Will definitely be back for more!The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was because when we first walked in, I told them how many people (3), and no one said anything to me. No, "it'll be a few minutes but please have a seat" or even mentioning the fact that there were people waiting ahead of us. We stood awkwardly in front of them but eventually moved to the side when we realized we wouldn't be seated right away. We almost walked out after waiting 10 minutes but were called to be seated as we were about to Google another spot.

This was a very fun experience with our party of nine (9) friends enjoying a birthday. The menu is huge and varied; we opted for two sets of the four-person special. There was so much delicious food! From the miso soup to the sushi, and on to the salads and veggies, and all through the meat portions - what a great fresh selection of delicious food. Service is attentive and helpful throughout the service, explaining everything as they serve. The dessert is a great surprise too - s'mores!!! This is a fun spot for a small group or celebration of any kind. I'd come visit again for sure.

Great spot for some bbq. I love the beef ramen, it is very savory. The gyozas and amazing. The fried rice is also great. Service is attentive and very friendly. The vibe here is family friendly but also can be an adult night out if you have family coming into town or just want to hang out with your boo and bbq some meats.

We enjoyed our first experience w Japanese BBQ. Not a large difference vs Korean BBQ except there are no side dishes. We enjoyed some draft Japanese beer to go with the Meat Lovers Combo for 2. Fun experience to linger over your meal and where every bit of food is hot.

It's like I am back living in Japan! Happy hour is the best as in the harami in secret pot. Sooo good!
I wish I could give this spot a better rating.. the food was good. The wait time isn’t overly intense..somewhat slow tho-restaurants wasn’t even full. The gill in the middle of the table is a great idea.. the booth just had zero leg room. For the price you can go somewhere with better

Great food as you can see once she kick the shoes off u know it's good..First time I went to a restaurant where I didn't need to add any sauce which is very good btw but the meat had so much flavor I kept forgetting to use it definitely would recommend for a nice date night or you can just cook up some nice food and enjoy the atmosphere, almost forgot great drinks as well...

Our server Hoang/Andy was awesome!!!! He was funny, nice, and attentive! He checked on us the right amount of times and made sure our waters were refilled. He also brought out my friend her birthday dessert and it was MORE THAN AMAZING. The portions you get for the four person dinner was more than enough and such a GREAT DEAL!!! Wow we were blown away at what a great experience this was. This is the ONLY legit Asian bbq place in the whole state. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in Minneapolis! Thank you Hoang! Please give him our praises and maybe a raise? ?
