After three tries, twice for coffee and once in the evening for wine, I find Cafe Harmony to be more dissonant than harmonious. The coffee was so bad that I couldn’t drink it, and the wine selection for the “wine bar” was extraordinarily limited. It could be a cool place, but the product has to be good. With such great choices within a five minute walk, I’m surprised the place stays open.
I’ll be certain to make an offer on the Klipschorns if there is ever a going out of business sale!

Café Harmony is such a gem! The coffee is excellent—smooth, rich, and consistently well-prepared. The ambiance is just as special: cozy, inviting, and perfect whether you’re catching up with friends, reading a book, or getting some work done.

Food okay. Overpriced tea. Atmosphere of the cafe not great with tiny tables, music too loud to talk or work and a musty smell as the cafe is in a basement type room with unfinished walls. WiFi was good.

Great little coffee shop with some really cool options. They have an extensive (kinda expensive but great coffee should cost more than it does) pour-over menu that changes frequently, had Dak, Tanat, Leaves (JP), and Tim Wendelboe when we were there. We had a washed Tanat Kenya Ruiri 11/SL28/SL34 and a Leaves washed Ethiopia Wuri heirloom, and their pourovers were extracted perfectly. Their menu includes info on roasters, origin, process, varietal, elevation, and of course tasting notes. We also had a clean, slightly caramelly tasting hōjicha from Gifu that was really tasty. If you are a coffee nerd from out of state, there will be something you like here. Also a nice orchid in the bathroom, and matchbooks at the counter.

As a coffee connoisseur I was so excited to visit this cafe while traveling through Minneapolis. Unfortunately we had the worst service I’ve ever experienced. The woman working rolled her eyes upon my arrival and ordering a coffee. She proceeded to scoff when our group asked for glasses of water. And stomped around the cafe acting like she hated the world. I honestly considered asking her is she was okay because she was so unpleasant and seemed angry. My friends and I will not be going back here and I would not recommend. There are plenty of other coffee shops in Minneapolis with kind staff.

I ordered an iced vanilla latte and when it came to my drink, the bairsta came up to me and said their coffee beans grinder broke and asked if I wanted a refund or to wait a little. I said wait a little. 20 mins go by and theyre still trying to fix it, I give them grace because this stuff happens! It's okay! Another 20 mins go by and I asked if I could switch my latte to a matcha and immediately, the barista told the other barista to refund me for my drink. I said no, it's okay! 5 mins later, I was sipping my iced matcha latte and it was SO GOOD! I will definitely go back to try the vanilla latte another time for sure!! 🫶🏼
