Hmmm... Mixed feelings.
-Person working was doing their 'job' at a basic level.
-Menu's were all dirty/stained (such an annoying thing at food/drink places - ummm...the menu is filthy...lost my interest). -Vibe is nice, but walls are crumbling (watch out if you wear dark clothes.
-Tables are horribly wobbly - set my tea down and bam, half of it spilled all over the table (person working wasn't concerned) ~ felt like half of the tea I paid for was my loss; gurr.
-Seating is uncomfortable.
-Music was good.
-The tea was completely my jam (and I'm usually a coffee drinker).
-Why are places still serving drinks in to-go cups?! gurr. I got my tea in a real mug, but my partner was given a to-go; why?
I appreciate this place, but it could be so much more. You can't put in an amazing sound system and forget about the rest. It's all in the details, and some are being missed. Give your staff a reason to more than just 'be' there.

Beautiful spot. I spent the afternoon studying here and it quickly became one of my favorites spots. The inside is minimalistic with brutalist and industrial inspiration. The space is extremely clean and well kept. There are numerous outlets under the seats which are relatively comfortable and wooden. The tables might be my only complaint as they are quite small.. but adequate for most things. They play numerous records which Is quite unique and cool. The menu is small but all the items I tried were great. The pumpkin latte was recommended to me and was perfect and not too sweet. The entrance is located adjacent to the street in a small alley. They have one small gender neutral bathroom. Staff are kind and knowledgeable. I did not see a drinking fountain. Overall great spot!

Elle was exceptionally patient with me as I asked a dozen questions and smelled some of the teas. Followed their recommendations and it was divine. Lovely human being and a nice space.

amazing design and stellar coffee
Very chill and relaxed atmosphere. Excellent drip and pour over. Haven't tried espresso drinks yet, but I will soon.
I really enjoy the bagel snacks. The fig and ricotta is delicious! The little bursts of saltiness (maybe some flaky sea salt? Hard to tell) take it over the top.

Great vibe but the iced Miel i ordered was sub par at best. There are better options around the area with better coffee for a better price.

I went in to this location at 8:30 AM on a Friday and the establishment was empty and no one was at the counter. After a minute or so we were greeted by seemingly the only employee in that morning. I was confused at the lack of staff and foot traffic but I was hoping to get a cup of coffee and be on my way.
The entire interaction with the employee at the counter made it feel as though they were doing me a favor by taking my order. Myself and my partner requested a mocha and we were told that there was barely any chocolate left but they would make it work. Understandable that sometimes places can be low on supplies and resources, but given the absence of any customers I can't help but be curious as to where it was all going.
The person at the counter took our order and we took in the venue as we waited for our order to be fulfilled. The record collection along the wall and record-player built into the countertop was a nice touch, but the rest of the establishment felt unwelcoming. Thin and harsh tables that wobble if you look at them funny, a permeating scent of mildew that they had tried (and failed) to rid with a single stick of burning incense, and a noticeable lack of artwork or furnishings to make the location feel like somewhere one would want to stay.
Regardless, we were simply there to get a cup of coffee and get out. We were properly warned about the lack of sweetener and we were fine with that. What wasn't fine was the quality of the coffee we were given. It wasn't a lack of chocolate that made it taste bad, it was the fact that it had a distinctly "fish-y" taste to the liquid. It was like I ordered a cup of liquid sushi. I am almost impressed as to how much this cup DIDN'T taste like coffee. Did they accidentally give us soy-sauce instead of chocolate syrup? was the mildew in the air that heavy? Did the single employee just show up after a morning out on the lake? Whatever it was, I couldn't pass two sips of the stuff before throwing it out.
I suppose the warning signs were all there when I went in to the establishment, but I was willing to give a local business a shot. Anything to avoid giving starbucks anymore money. But this cup of coffee was so unbelievably bad it makes me wish I just didn't have coffee at all that morning.
This is not a serious business interested in catering to general customers. My best interpretation is that this is someone's hang out spot to listen to their records where occasionally they'll give strangers coffee. Steer clear of this establishment. From the lack of foot traffic at 8:30 AM on a Friday, it's clear all the locals know to avoid this place. You reading this review would be well advised to do the same.

atmosphere was pretty cool but we ordered an espresso tonic and I’ve never tasted a more disgusting hippie ass drink in my life. This made me think the possibility of another world war wouldn’t be so bad because this is what happens when civilization has too much time on its hands, we mix coffee and tonic water and put a piece of rosemary on it and charge 9 dollars.

Really good and unique selections, we got the matcha yuzu tonic and a pour over. The baristas were really knowledgeable and recommended a great roast. Definitely a place that prioritizes the craft!
