So good! Will be back! Kinda tight but cute. The food was yummy and out quick. A few vegetation options. Im hard of hearing and thought it was pretty noisy, but could hear my partner across the table.
It seems that a person in a wheelchair could remove a chair to pull up to a table though I didn't check the bathroom so unsure in that regard.

Hazel’s always delivers! We were seated quickly (with a reservation) and our food came out super fast! Excellent Sunday morning service.

Hazel’s is a tasty neighborhood spot in NE — especially for breakfast/brunch. The staff is always welcoming, kind and quick.

Good breakfast place. Seems very popular with locals and was pretty busy. The service was good and quick. I ordered the breakfast corn beef hash, and was surprised that it seemed to be more of a sliced deli meat rather than home cooked beef. This was a surprise, and it was not terrible, but having fresh we made meat would’ve made it a little bit more tasty and worthwhile recommending.

The place was clean, and the staff was friendly .

Great place for breakfast. Lots of interesting fare on the menu. Coffee is the only thing that is meh. I really liked the corn beef hash and eggs. Meat waffle was also good. They have 2 daily omelet specials, one veggie one meaty

If you’re looking for a delightful breakfast experience, this charming little restaurant is an absolute must-visit! From the moment we stepped inside, the inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for a memorable meal. We started off with their famous biscuits and gravy, which truly exceeded our expectations. The biscuits were wonderfully fluffy, smothered in a rich and savory gravy that was bursting with flavors, each bite was like a warm hug on a plate.

Next up was the quiche, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of fabulous! The flaky crust cradled a creamy filling packed with a fresh sald and just the right amount of cheese, creating a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that left us craving more. It was a beautiful presentation, too, making it almost too good to eat.

To complement our delicious meal, we decided to indulge in some bubbly mimosas. The refreshing mix of sparkling wine and freshly squeezed orange juice added a joyful sparkle to our brunch, making everything taste even better. It was the perfect accompaniment to our generous spread.

Our experience was further enriched by our server, Maggie, who was simply fantastic. With her warm smile and attentive nature, she made us feel right at home. Maggie offered amazing recommendations that helped us navigate the menu, ensuring we didn’t miss out on any hidden gems. Her knowledge of the dishes and enthusiasm for the food truly enhanced our experience.

One thing to keep in mind is the parking situation. The area can get a bit tight, especially during the busy brunch hours, so arriving early or being prepared to search for a spot is a good idea. Despite that small hiccup, the delicious food, great service, and vibrant atmosphere made it all worth it. If you’re in the mood for a delightful breakfast that will leave you satisfied and smiling, this restaurant is definitely the place to be!

We enjoyed a Sunday breakfast at Hazel’s in October 2024. The food was delicious, although the beignets we are used to are much larger. They were good, but not great, the dough was not as soft as we have had But the coffee, the bacon, French toast, etc. were wonderful. Service was as good as possible given how crazy busy it was. And, the atmosphere was lovely, but very loud.
