Heather's in Minneapolis is a favorite. It's that neighborhood joint everyone wants with great burgers, sandwiches, and salads, a great kids menu and twisty soft serve or cookies to keep the wee beings happy. But also that cozy date night spot with amazing daily specials and lovely grown up desserts on the patio. In practice, we usually order delivery (via Toast) and there's always a little tension between a dinner order (because THOSE SPECIALS!) or weekend brunch. We were able to do both today because they offered their daily special as part of their holiday brunch menu: lemon blueberry pancakes AND the ham special with asparagus and cheesy potatoes were both just amazing. ?Ordered pastries for week day breakfasts while I was at it but the delivery person missed the second bag or something. They made it right immediately - barely hung up the phone before the doorbell rang and a smiling, kind Heather's staffer was on my porch with a bag full of goodies. They just do EVERYTHING right.

The restaurant was full for lunch so I opted for the heated tent. Sunny and 30 out but roomy and comfy in tented seating.Enjoyed a beer and blackened Salmon BLT.Very good sandwich so please keep it on the menu!! Service was excellent and the wait time for food minimal. I will be back next week for lunch!!!

We grabbed takeout from Heather’s while visiting friends in Minne. The blue cheese burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and their fries were so good. You can tell they make all their sauces in house because their ranch was dillier than normal ranch (in the best way possible). We will definitely stop here again on our next trip to Minne.

The food was delicious, the service was top notch and the ambiance was next level. Had the dinner special of trout in beurre blanc with asparagus and mashed potatoes and it was amazing! The beurre blanc was delicate and paired so well with the trout. I literally cleaned the plate. Perfect portion. The Cubano was delicious too. Also, the tented patio outside is like being inside. It was 30 degrees out, but they heated it so well that we were in t-shirts. They did have blankets just in case, but really, it was like being inside. It's also super well lit with chandeliers even and little twinkly tree lights. They were also so kid friendly and set up for kids at all stages.Parking: There's a free parking lot right next to the restaurant and free street parking to the side of the restaurant. The lot might get full on sunday's because it's shared with the church down the street, but it's easy to park in this area. Neighborhood side streets all around.Kid-friendliness: They had an actual changing table in the bathroom with a changing pad. I'd still use a travel changing pad on top of that or lay down some paper towels, but it was like changing a diaper at home. They had whole milk for our 1 yo and 2% for our 3 yo (it's a cafe, but still). They also had high chairs and booster seats and the booster clipped to the chair so it wasn't going anywhere. They had kids menus with mad libs and gave us a mug of crayons when we sat down. Our kids were super excited. They got the kids' food out right away and gave us time with the menu. Really took great care of us and cooed over our Mac n cheese covered baby lol! If you're parents looking for an easy meal out with the kids, this is the place.

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast. I had their Autumn Hash - full of flavor and textures sure to please any pallet. We ate inside but they have an enclosed and heated outdoor space too. They also have grab and go homemade soups, dressings, and baked goods.

Went to lunch with a friend on a Friday late morning. We made reservations as we heard it can get a little busy. They had both street and designated parking which was easy and convenient. Our server was exceptional and super patient as we took a little extra time to place our order. Now let's get to the good stuff, our food :) I ordered the chicken pasta which was delicious! The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the pasta had a great flavorful. My friend really enjoyed the sweet potato hash with brussel sprouts and we each had drinks. The coffee and chamomile tea were yummy! We ended with a dessert and this was the cherry on top of an excellent lunch. The space is smaller but it is bright, airy, and super cute. I loved the floral and simplicity of the restaurant. I'd go back again!

Quaint eatery with great food! Our server Mel was great and kept our coffee cups full. My breakfast biscuit (housemade ) was huge and tasty seasoned! Definitely worth going to!

My favorite place in all of Minneapolis! Service is always great, I've never had a bad meal, the ambiance is perfect and I love the variety. I'm really picky with food and I never feel hesitant trying something new here!

Came here a lot over the past 3+ years and it’s just kind of inconsistent overall. Same menu items are prepared differently almost every time - a true “kitchen sink” kind of approach to entrees and features. Sandwiches are heavy on thick-cut bread and low on protein. Burgers are usually overdone with very large buns.Dining-in service is consistently very, very slow. Cookies have gotten considerably smaller over time. Coffee drinks, ice cream, and deli items are usually very good. The breakfast sandwiches are solid.
