Great little take-out spot. The fried rice is tasty and the prices are very reasonable. The people running the place are both efficient and kind.

I live in Wisconsin, but I'm from Minnesota originally. This place is the hidden gem. Literally the best Chinese food I've ever had in my life. The chicken is high quality. And the Fried Rice is to die for. I'm telling you 10 out of 10.

This is your typical Chinese take out spot. The sesame chicken and beef chow mein were delicious.
The cream cheese wontons are TINY! They put about a marble size of cream cheese in the wonton wrapper.

I immediately had to come write a review for this place. This place is has delicious food and is so reasonably priced! When I tell you the portions are HUGE. Like, enough for leftovers the next day and maybe even the day after that. I got the tofu w/broccoli and it is everything I’ve ever wanted and more.

I just had the sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was neither sweet nor sour. In fact it had no distiinctive. Battered, very dry and no sauce at all. I also had the vegetable egg rolls. This may be considered subjective but I didn't like them at all. They weren't crispy they're just chewy. I'll stick Lotus egg roll in the future.

We ordered "To Go" and unfortunately did not eat until we got home which was on the other side of town. (38 mi Round Trip)
This was the worst Chinese we have ever had. The chicken had the slimy, puffy texture of meat soaked in a tub of salt water. Everything was tasteless and/or stale. The vegetables had obviously been frozen after they were cooked, and reheated in a microwave. Sauce was old and flavorless. Deep fry oil had not been changed out in quite some time, and tasted rancid. We are trying to figure out where the good reviews came from because there was not one item that we were served that was good. We will definitely NOT go back to this place and we would caution anybody thinking about it to take the good reviews with a grain of salt. We threw the whole mess in the garbage.

Very bare-bones setup, may not look like much on the inside, but the food is great. Cash only, so be prepared; fortunately the menu is inexpensive. I've been comparing egg foo young dishes from various Chinese restaurants, and I prefer Huie's so far.

Parking: There are a few spots, one handicapped.

First and last time. Food was barely warm. For appetizer, ordered wontons got egg rolls…also barely warm. Outside of cartons were covered in food, very messy. Place did not look clean at all. Very disappointed!

They basically only support takeout and do not serve at the several tables they have. Service is quick and efficient. Extensive menu to select from. Food quality has been very good on everything I have purchased. All prices are very reasonable compared to others. A large order of Chow Mein will easily serve 2 or even 3 people at a cost around $15. I have gotten up to 4 meals from one order of Shrimp Subgum Chow Mein. Phone orders or walking welcome. Open on weekends and open 11:00 til 8:00 most days. Only cash is accepted, no checks or credit cards accepted.

Parking: A few parking spots in front of stores. Most are usually available. On street parking along 54th street also usually available.
