Jakeeno's Pizza & Pasta

Been here four times, twice for pizza, and twice for the bar food. The pizza side is ok, but the only edible bar food is the wings. I actually got sick from the pretzel cheese sauce today. I would only really recommend drinking here.

Have only ordered from door dash and it was everything I was expecting. Their reviews on door dash are very good which is what made me order. I love the thin crust style square cut pizza which is what I got and it did not disappoint. The flavor was excellent and was cooked very well, I also like the style where the pepperoni are under the cheese. In addition I got the spaghetti. It was good but I personally felt the flavor was lacking a bit given how flavorful the pizza sauce was but it was still good. Would recommend for an Oder out idk how the atmosphere or seating is for eating in.

Best bar patio, pizza, and pasta in South Minneapolis. Good food with good people. Stop in for happy hour and stay for dinner. It was so good I brought a frozen pizza home!

The ravioli was great, smothered in baked cheese, the sauce here is so good, it's a must to take home a jar of sauce. I shied away from this place for a long time just because those frozen pizzas they used to sell in stores were not that great but the restaurant is awesome!

Driver demanded tip when given the wrong address by the restaurant.

Really good food. Great prices. Very nice staff and pleasant atmosphere.

I've been coming to Jakeeno's pretty much my whole life. They have the best staff and incredible pizza. I personally love the chicken parm sandwich. Salads are really good too. You really can't go wrong here. We get their frozen pizzas too! Truly cannot love this place enough.

Not worth the hype.

1st time here…. 2pm on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Absolutely no one was there. No customers except us, walking in for a take out order. Food was okay… but I wondered why no one was there on a weekend afternoon. We waited for about 20 minutes for the food, still.. no one came in.

2nd time here… ordered spaghetti with meatballs. Just to get home and see that they didn’t put any meatballs in the order. Who orders just noodles and sauce? ? Okay… so when my dad goes back to get the order corrected, he’s greeted by a rude Hispanic girl who drills him for a receipt, when we came and paid with cash and it wasn’t an online order. She made it seem like we were lying about getting the raggedy noodles and sauce from them. Weird.. okay then she gets this fake tough young Hispanic guy from the back who tells him “they’ll give the meatballs (THAT WE PAID FOR) just this time”… like he was doing us a favor.

Complete clowns at this place. No wonder nobody was there.

Pizza was delivered via TOAST, their recommended service. Arrived cold and smashed to one side of the box. Was only a 4 minute drive away, makes no sense. And of course no one wants to take responsibility. Buyer beware. I WILL NOT PURCHASE AGAIN.

I order pizza, wings, and salad from Jakeeno’s regularly and it always hits the spot. Thankful to have them in the neighborhood.

Love the atmosphere and the service! What a wonderful little joint! Truly nothing wrong with the place… was it the most amazing pizza ever? Not in my opinion, but it was still tasty and would gladly go back.

Got wings and a pizza. Just kinda wish the thin crust was a bit more crunchy, but that might just be me and my expectations. Literally a great local place!
Would definitely be back!

Just moved into a nearby neighborhood and have ordered here a few times before. It's always been tasty. Today, our delivery driver (DoorDash contracted out) did not bring our pizza along with our other two items. I contacted the restaurant and one of the owners (Patty) went out of her way to drive the pizza to our house. Though this was not something they'd be able to do every time (I'm sure), this goes to show you the dedication and passion of the owners of this establishment.

Personally, I am passionate about supporting local businesses - especially those who go the extra mile for customers. So, I encourage you to visit / order from them because I promise you, you will have a great experience.

Nice neighborhood spot, good pizza.I like the added bar, but it doesn't quite *feel* like Jakeenos. Maybe they'll grow into it.

Me and some friends tried to have a good night, and play some bingo at this place when we had a very rude, disrespectful, racist encounter with the "Owner", she aggressively told a friend she had to leave because she had a unlit blunt, as well as trespassed her from this place. She called me incompetent and her words "It's not my problem that you don't understand maybe you should ask your friends" when I asked what she meant by that her response was" if you can't comprehend then you need to leave". I looked up the law in Minnesota in regards to her reasons for her actions and found she's wrong. Minneapolis has not passed a ordinance to prohibit smoking marijuana outside. I dont appreciate how I was treated. She was unprofessional, and I was treated like an animal this is 2024, On top of that the spaghetti noodles were dried out and hard.
