Jakeeno's Pizza & Pasta

We live down the road from Jakeenos and we really want to like this place. The pizza is mediocre, it really just needs a little more flavor. So much potential though! Last night, we stopped in for the late night happy hour and there was an incident with a disorderly guest. The manager and staff on duty handled this excellently. They care about the people who dine here and want to make sure you have a nice experience. Well done :)

They also have a great trivia night that I look forward to attending again soon!

It was just ok pizza. Cost $16ish for a 10 inch 2 topping. Coulda made a frozen thin crust at home for less. That all you can eat spaghetti deal looks promising though, should try that next time.

I have not visited this restaurant in over 25 years. I love the atmosphere. I love the customer service. Everyone is friendly. There are lots of options however I could be wrong, but I think that most of the pizza places in this area Saint Paul and Minneapolis are using the same lasagna preparation service. I’ve been to three locations and it all taste the same. I don’t think it’s an authentic recipe anymore. I won’t order that option again maybe next time I’ll try the pizza. Also, the bread was rather hard. There was only a small amount of cheese on the pizza that’s why I added a slice of American. It just taste like an average lasagna purchased From any grocery store freezer section. I’m adding this review because a friend of my visited there right after I left TODAY and she didn’t have a happy experience. I think IM GOING TO avoid this location.

This place had a major glowup! Love their food. I am a pasta person more than a pizza person, ingredients are fresh and consistently excellent, and the addition of the bar side has made the place more versatile. Our bartender Laura made out of town guests feel super welcome, drinks and food were great, very positive experience.
