Great dancefloor & properly made drinks!! A must-go-to spot for nightlife in the NE Minneap area!
You could feel the humidity and steam from people’s bodies when you walk in the door. Has a huge dance floor full of half dressed sweaty people if that’s your jam. It was definitely very young and LGBTQ+. There is a cover.

Pretty iconic place and if you haven’t been you should try it once! I like to get there around 11pm when it’s busy but not elbow to elbow and I think Friday night has the best DJ. It’s hot as heck in there tho so I would dress for that or do coat check!!

It’s the hot “queer girl” club spot. A lot better for gays than gay 90s. The cover is cheap but drinks around 10 bucks. Dance music is somewhat basic but mixes are good and people actually get down by the end of the night
Love Jetset sm. The music they were playing for NYE was not it. I've had more fun dancing at heterosexual weddings.

The bouncers need to start turning people away, it is hardly a gay bar anymore

Bring cash and card, sometime cover is cash sometimes its card...
If you like wine, bring it — because they don’t have anything drinkable. Sorry, Peter — I did work for you in the ’90s, so I wasn’t gonna roast you... much. Look, just get a couple decent boxes; charging $9 a glass from a $10 bottle is math I refuse to accept.
This place is otherwise great: gay boys, straight boys with their bi girlfriends, gay girls with their bi girlfriends — fantastic vibes and killer music. Not a hotspot for an asexual guy, though. Also: huge opportunity here. They’re only open a few nights a week, and the Twin Cities could seriously use a proper lesbian bar (especially since the coop seems stalled). I’ll help run and promote it — and yes, I’m joking about sneaking booze in, but I’d happily pay a $10/bottle corkage fee.

Super fun for dancing but the service is terrible. Bartenders and staff are so pretentious and are super rude. Couple of my friends and I were peeing in the bathroom and not being disrespectful at all. THEY THEN TRIED TO BREAK INTO THE STALL AND KICKED US OUT. They screamed at us and were so rude. Disrespected our privacy and treated us like shit. They tend to only favor the men there so if you are a woman you will get neglected at the bar and likely treated poorly.

Jetset was a rare find on a Friday night when looking for a place to go with friends to have a good time. After searching for over thirty minutes to find an atmosphere like the one Jetset provided, I was curious to see what was happening in the building with a small airplane lit up. Needless to say, for the $5 cover charge the place was great. Drinks were well poured, music was loud, and the crowd was amazing.
Added comments from the second visit: While Friday nights are great, there are far too many people on a Saturday. I'm not sure the occupancy limit for this club, but it was very hard too move.
Secondly, the drinks my gf and I had were both subpar compared to last time. There was almost too much whiskey in my whiskey sour. That being said, my final thoughts are:
Would I visit this place again? Yes.
Would I recommended this place to a friend? Yes.

Much more accepting and diverse alternative to the Saloon.

used to be so fierce now theyre just playing Starships and Timber on repeat at least the drinks are strong
The 18 year old straight boys that sexually harassed my wife is crazy. The fact that they aren't checking IDs better is crazy. I used to love this bar but if my group is going to get harassed everytime they go out they won't be getting my business. check IDs better!!!

Was such a fun place to go for pride. Such a cool place. However the bartender was SUPER rude. Yelled at me for not leaving a tip on the card machine, and told us to “get out.” 1. We had gotten our drinks 3 seconds ago and he left us no time to tip in cash before being super rude- which made me not want to tip AT ALL. 2. My girlfriend is from a country that does not use tips, and I was just returning from living abroad as well. It was super intense, rude, and assumptive. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I would never talk to a customer that way.
