The hotel is gorgeous and captivating. The food is nasty and gross. Few of my friends that went there for my birthday got sick the next day from eating there. The restaurant lack good chief, season food (s) etc. The server took 10-20 minutes to make 2 people drink when we were a party of 14. Oh yea, we had only 1 server which was terrible and we all was patience with the server however a lot of people food sis not come out fully cook, season or even out at all. The server forgot one of the guest food and that guest had to end up leaving for the night. Food tool forver to come out. There was water in the fried chicken, how does water get into fried chicken if the chicken was really FRIED! The food was over all GROSS! DON'T EAT HERE! Pleasw save your money. Food is over prices. Majority of people ended up getting salad and fries because of how bad the first food came out! Save your money and time don't go there.

We had the pleasure of having Angel as our server who was super friendly, helpful and informative with all of our questions and concerns. We will definitely be back to the Top Golf simulator suite and Jolliet House restaurant!

Phenomenal food and ambiance. Great evening. Try the homemade potato chips and French onion dip and the soup.

We had a business meal with ten-plus people. Everything was prepared for us, and our server and bartender Johanna did a marvelous job. The food was great, and the prices affordable.

Drinks were delicious, food was ok - we made our reservation more than a month ago and there was no notice that it was a special/limited pre-fix buffet menu at a flat $50 rate per person for NYE. This was disappointing as we would have looked elsewhere for dinner knowing this was the case. The staff made no mention of it when we sat down, so we waited about 20 minutes before hearing the single waitstaff person tell another table that was the option for the evening.

POSITIVES-The food is very good and it has good ambience. EXCELLENT location in the beautiful Marquette Hotel and IDS tower. NEGATIVES-Server was very rude and I felt racially discriminatory attitude. He displayed lack of privacy for hotel guests and converse in a very interrogatory and derogatory tone. I have dined at the best fine dining restaurants in the United States and Canada and never encountered such profound lack of privacy and attitude of racial discrimination. CONCLUSION: I will never ever go back to the Joliet House. There are much better choices in the area.

Waiter was so nice and did his best to serve us well despite being the only one working. Food and appetizer was delicious and drinks are well made. I was very surprised by how good everything was considering some of the reviews but I recommend this place especially if you're staying at the hotel. Also they have a Mary Tyler Moore table and seating overlooks the plaza.

We had an amazing experience over the thanksgiving holiday and the Topgolf technology was fun!

We had a group of 8 which included 2 children for a birthday supper. They did not have a children's menu posted but did offer a kids cheeseburger and cheese pizza. My husband had a steak which he said was one of the best he has ever had. I had the short rib and the rest ordered the chicken. All the food was hot and delicious! The grandkids even liked the cheese pizza.

We reserved both Top Golf Swing Suite bays for a friend and family gathering on a Sunday morning, most of us had the breakfast buffet. Food was hot and fresh, excellent variety, and the staff were incredible! Huge selection of virtual games to choose from and we had a blast trying them all! It was an even better experience than we hoped for, highly recommend and would definitely do it again! Thank you to the staff for a wonderful time!

We met with several friends for a night of Top Golf followed by dinner. The set up is perfect we had a great time. Our server was readily available and we always had drinks full. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was amazing! Our favorite appetizer was the coconut shrimp. We ordered the special for dinner it was a filet with a berry compote. We would definitely do this again and highly recommend if you are looking for a fun evening with friends and delicious food.

Best service I may have ever received! I apologize for not grabbing her name! Unbelievable kind to me and my guest

Considering the place was nearly empty the service seemed quite slow. The food was very mediocre. The appetizers were good but the entrees were very disappointing. The chicken seemed like leftover reheated and was very tough. The location and ambiance out on the terrace was fun but we will not be back.
