Omgggg. Just go. Go.
Solid lunch deals and buzzy atmosphere to keep you cozy. There will be a wait, but worth it.
One of the best places to eat in the area. I'd eat here every day if I could afford it tbh

My favorite Korean restaurant! The taste is the best!!!! My first time here was with my friend and it was 3 years ago. I become a regular costumer since that time. Just love the spicy taste and traditional flavors of all kinds of Korean food this restaurant serves! Every side dishes was homemade and comes with the entrees you ordered.
I basically tried everything on the menu because I have been to this restaurant too many times. I will definitely say everything on the menu tastes great and worth to try!
Highly recommended combo special! Best value ever! Sometimes even enough for two people if you and your company can’t eat a lot.
The hosts and servers are always so nice! You even get a bottle of water every time eating here.
The only thing here is it’s a tiny restaurant and can be loud and crowded sometimes.
However I recommend dine in, especially for the tofu stew! It tastes way better when it’s dine in than take out. You don’t want to miss the boiling part of the pot, especially you get to crack a free raw egg in your stew!

Stopped by on a Friday evening. The restaurant is a bit smaller than what we expected t but we got a table fairly quickly. The food was amazing and the service was great. I got the seafood tofu which was amazing. It was very hot so you should let it cool down. Each pot came with a side of rice and a free water. I would highly recommend going to this restaurant.

Ordered takeout soft tofu stew and tteokkbokki. The stew is flavorless— just hot water and spicy. The tteokkbokki is way way too sweet and tastes too much like cinnamon as well. There is no flavor in its sauce other than cinnamon sugar. The rice is mushy and the banchan is non-existant. I don't think I've ever had worse Korean food.

I always enjoy and love the food here. It’s delicious and comforting every time!! However, the service can be quite disappointing. The waitresses are often rude and inattentive, which really takes away from the overall experience. It’s a shame because the food is great, but the customer service really needs improvement. I guess at the end of the day, the food keeps me coming back.

Parking is a problem, very limited street parking. I parked in a U of M parking ramp a couple blocks away ($3 for the time I spent).
Smaller interior, so there's limited seating. It's pretty popular. I had to wait 5-10 minutes and other customers came in and left as I waited. This was around 1 pm.
As this is a tofu stew (순두부찌개) restaurant, I had to try it. I've had very little of this in the US and only a couple of times in Mn. The size is smaller, yet still on the low end of standard. It'll probably still fill up most. The taste wasn't bad. I had the ham & sausage. The sausage tasted like Oscar Meyer hot dogs, not great. The ham was fine. As far as tofu stew, it's kind of standard. Not as good as the stuff I'd get in Chicago (although, that's a particular restaurant) and not quite as good as I would expect in Korea.
The menu is in English so I don't know if the meat I had was 제육볶음 (stir-fried pork) or 돼지불고기 (pork bulgogi). Based on the flavor and the sauce, I'm guessing it was pork bulgogi. Had I just had the pork, I would have been very happy. It was really good/what I'd expect in Korea. Chicken is an option or beef for a little more.
The stew and pork lunch combo is about $20 including tax.
I had an extra rice which I think was $3. They refilled my sides for free.
It was kind of cramped eating and a bit warm inside so it was a little uncomfortable. It's a little loud with all the chatter.
Service (American-style meaning) is great. They were friendly, got whatever I requested quickly, and the food came relatively quick. They gave extra napkins to everyone. Everyone got their own bottle of water.
Overall, this place is good. Slightly lower prices than I've seen for Korean food in MN.
김밥 (Kimbap/K-style California Roll) is crazy expensive in the US, yet a couple dollars cheaper here than other places I've seen. Someone tried to order one and they were sold out. I guess they only make a limited amount in the morning.

Absolutely the best, most authentic Korean food in the cities. On top of that, the prices are affordable, serving sizes are large and they don’t dumb down the spice like other places! Amazing place, always stop by when in town!
I love this place!! I come here all the time for their tofu stew and spicy pork. It is maybe the best I've had! The only thing is it's a little cramped since it's in such a small place, but I think it can also to the charm 😌
