They have the best tofu soup ever! I’ve moved to different cities and states, but this place will always be the top of the top in my heart. After graduating and coming back here three years later, the taste is even better than before. Love, love, love! Always recommend!
Listen. I may be biased but truly this restaurant has been a cornerstone of my experience at the University. The food is ALWAYS delicious and is served quickly and piping hot. If you want a simple but delicious meal right on the UMN campus, Kimchi Tofu House is the right location. It’s not a downside for me, but the location is very small, so if you have a large party you may need to wait a while as the restaurant does not take reservations.
A must-eat if you live around the U, particularly their food will warm you up in winter months. I always order their combo that includes their meat (chicken/dak bulgogi) and tofu soup. Their kimchi and bean sprouts are my all-time favorite! I will miss this restaurant so much!
