Kings Restaurant (Korean Cuisine)

I have never been much of a Korean Cuisine person because most of all the Korean restaurants I’ve ate at before seems similar to any other asian bbq, and especially the kimchi isn’t all that different from pickled green collard with spices. However!!!! this place will probably be the only place I will eat my Korean cuisine until I find another one to review about!!! If you ever go to this place, and you like pickled spiced veggies or you like kimchi, you have to try their kimchi. They have it on the side and I ended up ordering a whole 16oz to take home. It tastes fresh. I also loved the seaweed salad, so yummy. Try their kimchi miso soup also. It’s better than other places I’ve been to, but it might be an acquired taste. The noodle dish(Kap chae), rice bowls (Dol sot Bibim bap), and Ddukbokki was all good but I didn’t care too much for. Note that the Ddukbokki dish didn’t taste as sour as other places so I did like it better. Last is the best, the Gal-bi ribs. It is delicious ?. Pricey though. I would only eat it for those special occasions lol. The highlighted dishes for me are definitely the Gal-bi and Kimchi. A Must try.

So disappointed! Last time I was here it was great. This time everything was small portions for a family-style restaurant. It was not worth the price.

It was a horrible experience today. After we got seated, another couple was seated after us. Water was dropped off at their table first then the server asked us if we want anything to drink. There were two ladies that got seated after them too. We ordered our food. Server came out to drop off one item; no sidedishes. A few minutes later, he went to the other table with the ladies to drop off their food and then came back to our table to drop off our other dish even thought we order before them. The whole time, none of the servers came to check on us to see whether or not our food is good or if everything was okay. We see them going to other tables to check on them and see if they want any boxes or anything else. The only time they came back was to drop off plate and the check. It was a very disappointing experience and will never return because they didn’t not have any type of service at all. Is it because we didn’t order enough food for them to make more tip? Is that why they don’t even bother to check on us or give us service?

Very disappointed in the poor customer service my party and I received. This is not our first time here and it may be the last.

We waited an hour for our food to arrive. We were very patient, as we could see they were busy. Unfortunately after our food arrived, we did not receive any plates. It took them approx. ten mins to acknowledge us when we kept waving them down for assistance. Even after receiving our plates, they did not come back to ask us if we needed anything, how the food was, etc… (things they’ve done before when we’ve been here).

We saw servers coming back and forth, assisting other tables around us. After multiple attempts to wave them down when we ran low/out of our water, it took them FOREVER to even come. It felt intentional that they were ignoring us, which may have not been the case but when you have multiple people from the same party wave you down… it is annoying to say the least. We were asking for bare minimum. Plates for our food, water refills and more napkins…

During our dinner, we noticed other parties arrive and they turned them away. I’m not sure what that was about because shortly after turning away two parties, they sat the next one down.

All in all, food was amazing but the poor customer service does not make up for it.

Visited the place, it’s very good for anyone who is in the area and looking for Indian vegetarian food. You will find reasonable alternatives in their menu.

JMT That Japchae...King Korean Restaurant shook America...It's so delicious ㅠㅠ.. To be honest, I didn't expect much when I ordered it, but I was hungry after one bite.. Especially the side dishes... I really wanted the recipe My boyfriend also said it was really delicious. He asked me how I found out about this place and asked him to come again. We were both completely satisfied.I highly recommend it! Perfect for both Korean and American tastes?

What a fun, unique, authentic, and freaking delicious find!We were in the area and I'm glad we were.Very authentic, quick, and great service.You are served traditional dishes to share, which confused us (its not noted anywhere and unless you know... you have no idea). Thanks to Google, we figured it out.. but not what they were haha.Everything was awesome. The Tang-Su-Yuk was fried nice and crispy and the sauce was bright and fresh. The Kan-Pun-Gi was a perfect spice and and flavor.It iis on the pricier side, which im mot a fan of, but 100% recommend stopping here!
