It’s delicious! Me and a Friend tried a little bit of everything and honestly no complaints at all. Give it a chance I promise it won’t disappoint!
Smart, well educated bilingual staff
Cute restaurant with a great patio in a laid back, residential neighborhood. Food was excellent, we had empanadas, flautas, tostada and taco. Service was personal, prompt and friendly. Will definitely go back!
My husband and I checked out this S. Mpls gem on a friend’s recommendation. It was super easy to make a reservation and it was a nice laid back neighborhood restaurant. Great drinks and tasty, well put together food!
Good food, a little on the spendy side. Carne Asada tacos are really well prepared and flavorful. Loved the cocktails, especially the mango margarita. Patio is wonderful!
A for effort, quality of food, price and setting. Our server was prompt and professional. The margaritas could use a little more zing. I will come back.
-Slow service-Overall pretty good food, but choosing something off the menu was more difficult than it should’ve been.-Waiter wasn’t accommodating and did not offer suggestions. Instead said to “check the menu”.
The food was excellent and our server was very cool, even though he got slammed!
Wonderful food and friendly hospitality!
Tacos are amazing! Concept change from La Fresca is more than welcomed.

Delicious dishes. All smaller but with a group of 4 we ordered 2 rounds of ~3-4 things each time. Cold, fresh beer. A fantastic restaurant on Grand, will be back again.
amazing flavors in every dish!! bold, fresh and perfectly crafted!
Excellent food & service
El Asador is just alright. The service is quick but their menu is limited and on the pricey end. I’m all for spending money on some good food but I was kind of disappointed. The food was a little bland and not worth it. A $15 burrito needs to wow me and I was very underwhelmed.I hear their happy hour was worth it. That may be the route to go.
Holy wow....seriously incredible cuisine and service. I can’t believe I didn’t know this gem existed...definitely bringing friends here often. Highly recommended. Gourmet smaller plates, but not tiny, very satisfying. Bold flavors and delicate textures, and unique atmosphere. It would be a great date spot...I should start dating just to come here ?
