Service is always super quick, well made hand crafted cocktails. Love there is ample seating, beautifully decorated. DJ Friday night is my fav, plays to the 35 plus crowd. Ambiance and vibe is very grown and sexy. Place to go after dinner if you want to mingle and hear great music.

Last call is when the curtains close! Keep an eye out because it’ll come without notice. For a W Hotel this lounge is sub par on service. Prohibition is a gem though.

We were staying at the Foshay and had had a busy evening of activities and a concert. We had 30 minutes to spare so we decided to grab a cocktail before while we waited for our uber. It was fairly steady with patrons but not packed by any means. The atmosphere was wonderful, there were several open seats in a variety of settings. We chose a pair of cozy chairs near the bar and waited about 5 minutes before someone came to serve us. Our server was great, we loved her. We each ordered a cocktail, figuring it would be a fairly quick transaction.

We ordered The Girls Best Friend and Bluephoria. After 20 minutes of waiting, another server approached and let us know there was a private event and we would need to go to the other side of rhe room in 30 minutes. This was fine, but mentioned that we were still waiting for our cocktails and was hoping to leave soon anyways. He checked on them and we had them in a few minutes.

The cocktails were delicious. I enjoyed the Girls Best Friend. With notes of grapefruit, The drink wasn’t too sweet or sour, it was perfect for me. Thr Bluephoria was a yummy but a little sour for either of our likings. We paid for our drinks right away, so we could head to our destination. Unfortunately we couldn’t sip and enjoy our cocktails because the 30 minutes was up by the time we received them.

Nonetheless, we will be back but might be better at the end of the evening than the start of the evening.

The Minneapolis Living Room at the W Minneapolis - The Foshay truly lives up to its name as a great space for relaxation and enjoyment. The ambiance is sophisticated yet welcoming, making it an ideal spot for both casual get-togethers and more upscale evenings!

Outstanding service. Drinks were great. Very comfy lounge with lots of seating. We didn't have any food, but I'm giving it 5 stars for the drinks which were expertly prepared by a great bartender!

The atmosphere is so nice. You can sit and vibe or dance. We’ve gone a few times when the DJ Anthony Kasper was playing - dude does not miss! He plays a great mix of reggae, afrobeats, r&b, & hip-hop.

First time at the living room. Very nice atmosphere. On arrival, the waitress with the brownish/reddish hair was very rude. She looked at me up and down and in a nasty tone asked, “what can I do for you?”. I guess she assumed that because I am black I was there to cause trouble. No one should be treated or talked to a certain way because of the color of their skin. This is straight up racist behavior. Perhaps, some sensitivity training is needed.

Visited this establishment after a work conference with my wife and we loved the experience. The kind valet gentlemen let us know that the “Living Room” was right inside. We were greeted at the entrance for an ID check and the vibe was immaculate. Large fire pit, leather couches, upscale decorations with almost dim lighting including an LED light structure. There was a DJ here spinning his life out tracks and we were here for it. Not to mention the trio dip appetizer was delightful, we will most definitely be back here.
