The best cake and icing you'll ever have in your life. We have been coming here since my daughter was near 5 years old and she still requests this amazing Bakery for her birthday cakes. This year we did celebrate her 28th birthday and we got a half strawberry half pineapple sheet cake, as usual it was phenomenal. 5 Stars.

Bought 2 cakes for an impromptu Birthday party, our guests and family truly enjoyed the Cakes which were 3 leches vanilla and 3 leches vanilla / chocolate.
Service was nice and informative ( I speak Spanish which helped). They have a variety of pastries as well. Bilingual service also available.

I used to live off of their pastries, I'm not kidding, and I haven't been there in forever so I stopped in this morning. I just scarfed down 2 churros, a FRESH donut and one of those small cheesecakes. If anyone knows what those are called let me know.They are so friendly also and have beautiful cakes! Thanks for being a staple in our neighborhood :)

I love El Rey so much, I have been coming here a lot because my favorite cake is in here. Always great employees as well! My only complain is if you buy their pre-made whole cake it's usually a miss! But the best and favorite cake is in here. Witch craft

Omg this place has been my favorite for the longest bc of their mocha tres leche but now after going 30 mins before closing and Jose gave me the best costumer treatment I’ve ever seen, he made me feel welcomed and gave me extra milk on the cake which is so sweet. Anyways go for the cake but go for Jose the best employee in the costumer service field ????

This is my favorite bakery in the twin Cities. The food is fantastic, the prices are great, and the folks are very friendly. The jalapeño popper bread is to die for.

It is a bakery and pastry shop with the purest Mexican style and flavor. The service is quite good and they are friendly. You can buy soft drinks, water, coke and milk. They offer American coffee.

The home-style flan is delicious and their very famous 3 leches cake is a delight.
