From WI and came here for lunch during a Conference in downtown Minneapolis. Got here before the lunch rush and was able to get a seat at the bar table as I was by myself. Ordered a lunch special which consisted of chicken lo mein, chicken fried rice, and 2 steamed pot stickers. You could choose different main and side dishes off the menu. All for $11.99. also ordered a fresh squeeze lemonade which I didn't receive until I was finished with my food and reminded them. I had no real issue with that as I got my food super fast and had water to drink while eating. Everything was great. Lo mein was a bit different as they used some really thin noodles and it was slightly crispy at some parts. Maybe just the way it's meant to be here but I didn't mind that much. Food tasted great still and service was good. Not a big place if you come with a big party so be cautious. I would come again if given the opportunity.
I used to go here often and they were very gracious with the servings and had awesome service. I ordered a coffee with light ice and she didn’t fill it all the way and put so much ice that I couldn’t even put the straw in. :( I told her and she was super condescending in her tone and said she’d have to charge $3 extra just to fill it up all the way. Honestly super unfortunate because I loved supporting small businesses like lotus, but with the skimping I don’t know if I can anymore.

I saw this place on a tik tok and saved in Google, so I could remember to go when one of my loads afforded me the opportunity. I don't know if something fell into the ice or if something was in the drink mix or what. But my mango boba ended up with a ungodly amount of tiny plastic shards that accidentally, I assume, somehow ended up blended up in my drink. I drank an unsafe amount of this before I realized I had shards lodged in my throat. I am a truck driver and, between already being back on the highway and this location not being truck friendly, was not able to just take it back for a refund. Thankfully, I haven't had any lasting problems from this, but I am honestly so disappointed that I didn't have a better experience.

Oh, Lotus Vietnamese Restaurant? It's a gem! The atmosphere is super cozy, giving off those chill vibes that make you want to stay and chat. The food is top-notch, flavors are spot on, and everything tastes super fresh. Service-wise, they're quick and friendly. Totally recommend it if you're craving some Vietnamese cuisine! ??

Delightful experience. Broth was tasteful. Meat was perfect texture for the pho beef soup. Especially, the service was the highlight. The young men serving were courteous and helpful. The portions were generous. Kind staff.
