We’ve been to Lynette multiple times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. During every visit we’ve enjoyed delicious food, beverages, and really wonderful service. The physical space itself is really beautiful too! It’s clear there’s a lot of heart and experience at work in Lynette.

First a caution about the ice on the sidewalks 2/7/26: the east side of 42nd, north of the restaurant, has a long stretch of solid ice. If you have trouble walking on ice, ask to be dropped off at the front door. There is still ice there at the curb, but not as much. We were 20 minutes late for our reservation; the greeter had just tried to phone to see if we were coming, so allow extra time to find parking. Our dinner was fantastic. We had the pepperoni pizza, the shrimp, carrots, and cauliflower, and all were cooked perfectly and so tasty! Highly recommended. Our server was fantastic, and helped me immensely to navigate the menu since I have some food allergies.

Lynette is a wonderful, warm neighborhood restaurant with a great staff (especially server Jack). It's a great place to spend a Sunday morning having coffee and brunch. Their french toast and other menu items are fantastic and well priced. If you haven't been here, highly recommend a visit!

Ultimate dinner and movie spot with Riverview Theater across the street. Good food, good service with what lately has become 'reasonable' prices. It's up to you...as portions are very shareable. Will it be Ribeye, Kale salad, or just the outstanding burger?

Warm attentive staff. Delicious well balanced cocktails. Food that reflects the soulful hygge of MN with a thoughtful worldly twist (i.e. fish sauce, curries, hoisin). It's not often that we go out to eat, get a hug from the food we're served, and get lost in the moment because flavors are so interesting and harmonious. Thanks for a wonderful evening Lynette. We'll be back soon.

Lynette is both a casual cafe to work from while savoring an amazing avocado toast as well as a destination for a celebratory meal with family and friends. The happy hour deals are also a delight! The patio is a hit in the warmer months. So far everything I’ve tried has been very yummy and I can’t wait to come back and try more.
