Didn't want to be rude because I love your Spread Love motto, so I rated a 5-star with a 1 star for food, service, and atmosphere. We have never eaten there, for only one reason. We saw the Shamrock on the logo, and the 'Chips' on the logo, so we entered to get a Curry Chips, assuming this was an Irish place with Chips. Well to our surprise, there is no CURRY. WHAT??? I am sorry, but....... hence the 1-star review without trying to affect you ratings at all.

MACS (and Anchors) fish and chips are the best in the Twin cities...worth the drive. Large portions, fresh fish, really tasty coleslaw, great people- wonderful and kind service.

Seriously the best fish & chips we’ve ever had! My first time eating walleye was at Mac’s (through DoorDash nonetheless) and now I always look for it when I’m outside of Texas. This time, I was looking for a Northern city to fly into to catch the northern lights and may or may not have chosen MSP just for Mac’s 🤗 The fries, cheese curds and fish are all excellent!

This is the best fish and chips you can get anywhere and luckily they're right in our neighborhood! Not only is the fish fresh and tasty but they're very community spirited. When there was a horrible tragedy in our neighborhood they fed the people that needed the help the first responders and others. They are good neighbors and a wonderful business.

Oh gosh I am glad I got extra food. The servers where great and the main guy is a high schoolers so fun. The food was fantastic. I got the shrimp and cod and and walleye. It was all fantastic. And the fries match the food perfectly. I will be back in two weeks.

Food was great. Halibut and Walleye were great. Vinegar on the table. Whoever said they had UK style chips had never been to the UK. They are regular fry thickness, but very good fries. Tartar sauce was very good, but also very thick. We also had the tacos and they were great as well. Good sauce on them, too. Service was very good. All in all absolutely recommendable. The only disappointment was that there was no coke zero in the fountain, only diet coke and I did not see any taffy anywhere.
Very good experience and well definitely go back.

The walleye is the favorite here! Lil dive off beaten path! Bunch of young kids working here.
Two guys cooking no English always fry my fries too hard, and last time ordering the attendant forgot to give me $11 in change, when I called back I got the run around and was told nobody in the store could return my money, gave me a drawn out spill to talk to the owner and referred me to their website to do that, never offered to take my info or nothing so that owner, manager can contact me!. I just left it alone, besides brought outta town guests here to try since the walleye is good but that experience made me withdraw my patronage, the customer relations and overall service is poor. If you can overlook certain things, it's ok only a foodi can relate!

Clean, place does not smell greasy, we’ve had it 4 times for pickup, every time has been freaking tasty. Keep it up y’all! Keep that quality coming. Thank you. Neighborhood fan!

Had a late lunch at Mac's today. My wife and I both had the walleye basket. The batter fried fish was done to perfection and the french fries were very good also. To go along with the fish, we ordered a side of clams big basket of clams for a side.
