Pretty good and on par with the Thai food I love and get elsewhere. Ordered the drunken noodles and panang curry. Loved both dishes! Just docking one star due to pricing. Both dishes came to about $40.

I avoid Pad Thai because so many places now make it sauce dependent. This was so superior to those - authentic perhaps????

The beef Pad Thai was great, tender meat! #3 spice level is spicy FYI. The red curry was very thin but had good flavor. I would get the chicken wings, pad thai and fries dumplings or wontons. Perfect meal!
I have Mia Thai leftovers in the fridge. 😋

We've been ordering from Mai Thai for almost a decade, and unfortunately in 2025 we've had problems. Used to be our favorite place. But our last two deliveries the spice level has been much hotter than we ordered, with visible chunks of chili paste not fully dissolved into the sauce so the heat level is unpredictable with each bite. Chicken and mock duck have both been very dry, making reheated leftovers pretty much inedible. Bummer, because their fresh spring rolls are still really nice. But the last Pad See Ew we received from them was so spicy we didn't want to finish it, and that's been my go-to order for the past 9 years. Sad that we need to find a new place now because Mai Thai used to be reliably awesome.

Ive had take out and eaten in here quite a few times. The place is usually empty but since its in Robbinsdale that's probably a good thing. The menu is limited but the food is very good, not going to find exotic dishes like you would find at a more expensive restaurant but its basic Thai food done well. As for the dining in experience, its quiet and you can have a conversation which isnt always the case at more trafficked restaurants

Great food, but the atmosphere could use a little life..
Mai Thai serves up some seriously good Thai food flavorful Pad Thai, rich curries, and spicy noodles that hit the spot. The service is friendly and quick, and the portions are generous for the price. My only complaint is the atmosphere the dining area felt dark and a bit empty, almost like the place was closed. It just lacks the warm vibe you’d expect from a sit-down restaurant. Still, for takeout or a quiet meal, the food makes it well worth the visit.

I just had lunch here with my mom and we both absolutely loved it and will be back. We got an order of wontons to share and they were very hot, oily, and delicious. My mom ordered the Massaman curry with beef and I got the red chicken curry, spice level 3. It was spicy and tasty and exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend.

Our first time getting takeout here and we will be back. Mango cashew stir fry with chicken and pad Thai with beef were delicious. Our order was ready on time and spice levels were on point.

The food was edible. But was it amazing for fried rice? Absolutely not. It was missing real flavor and it was also dry. Spent 50+ for fried rice and fried wontons for me and my husband. That’s expensive when it’s just rice with a few pieces of cut up chicken and some veggies. First time here and won’t be back. I love Thai food but this just didn’t hit the mark.
