We were visiting Minneapolis and wanted to try a Somali meal. We stopped in and ordered food to go. Wonderful! I give it five stars Food was tasty, clean, and fresh. When our order arrived, they gave us bananas to go with the meal. And bottled water. Nice touch! The people there were so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.
While visiting Minneapolis we wanted to try Somalian food. Looking at the reviews, we ended up in Mama Safia's Kitchen. In one word, the experience was 'great'! Samosas were fresh and testy. I tried goat lever and Somalian bread. The servers were really friendly and explains things with passion. The restaurant was clean. The spicy tea was refreshing. Overall we were highly satisfied. We would like visit again.
This place is 100% hands-down delicious, and the pricing is very reasonable. The staff are super friendly and welcoming—really helpful if you're not sure what to order, and they're willing to modify the menu to fit your preferences. The only downside is that it can take a while for the food to come out, which isn’t ideal when you’re on a short lunch break. But when you have the time, it’s totally worth the wait.
