Today, 12/08, my spouse and I visited around 5 PM. We ordered a strawberry sundae, a mango ice cream, and an iced Thai tea. While most of the food was okay, the vanilla ice cream in our strawberry sundae was disappointing. It had a grainy, dry texture—almost sandy—and wasn’t creamy at all.
Since there was only one staff member working, I patiently waited for her to finish other orders before bringing it up. When I calmly told her about the issue and asked for a remake with a different ice cream, she cut me off and asked what flavor I’d like instead. I chose matcha, expecting a full remake of the sundae with the new flavor.
However, she simply scooped two portions of matcha ice cream and handed it to me—no chocolate swirl, strawberries, or chocolate straw candy. I was stunned. If the original order wasn’t good, common sense would be to remake the entire sundae, just substituting the vanilla for the matcha. Instead, I was given two plain scoops of ice cream.
I explained that this wasn’t what I meant and reminded her she forgot the rest of the ingredients. She insisted it was my fault because I didn’t specify I wanted the whole sundae remade. I couldn’t believe it—if the ice cream wasn’t good, why not simply remake the order correctly?
I understand she was working alone, and I tried to remain calm and patient while communicating with her. However, her dismissive attitude and insistence that it was my fault were frustrating. Do you see where I’m coming from here? It just felt like common sense wasn’t applied in this situation.

it’s a cute place and offers desserts you won’t find anywhere else. while they all tasted good and i’d definitely come back to try some of their other items, i wasn’t blown away. the overall flavors are quite mild and the pastries + baked goods feel like they’re missing something. i also ordered a couple durian cream puffs and they came out slightly burnt. the desserts look better than they taste, but i’d go again.

Worst place . The customer service is the worse. I rather go to tii cup . The lady in the front made me the most disgusting drink. She didn’t care about my experience as a first time customer . The drink was made In 2 secs with all powder not even real milk. It is a place that charge a lot but have cheap products. Don’t go there and waist your money you won’t get a refund nor a replacement. Never will I go back because who knows what they use to make thier food and drinks

What delicious food and drinks that we had here! I would for sure return to try other items. The best part? I absolutely am in love with the mango sticky rice dessert. It was in my car for a 30 minute ride and the ice cream part didn’t totally melt which was nice. We got a few other items like boba drinks and treats and everything was good. The worst part? We had to use a kiosk to order and there was only one so this took awhile when people started lining up and it definitely made us feel rushed and we couldn’t take our time looking at the options so I highly recommend looking at the menu ahead of time so ordering is quicker. Since we didn’t know what we wanted, we had to put in 3 separate orders. The wait time on items did feel long too and it added up pretty quickly total wise but it was good and we’d return for other treats. Also, location not the best and you have to find paid street parking. I didn’t like being in this area late at night, lots of university students drinking, heading to parties and a few homeless people… when we went someone was getting arrested and it was a rowdy area so I don’t recommend families go late in the evening. Avoid if you’re not comfortable with this type of environment at night.

This place was a favorite of mine for a variety of drinks and desserts. After Sunday 05/19/24 however, I'll never be back again.
I regularly order the Snow White Mango Slush-O. I couldn't find it on the menu yesterday -I only saw the Snow White with Red Bean.
So, I asked the lady who was at the counter where to find the one without red beans as I'm allergic. She apparently misunderstood that I was talking about nuts allergy, despite me repeating NO RED BEANS. I am allergic to tree nuts, and have G6PD deficiency so I can't have red beans among other legumes. When she gave me my order WITH the red bean, I explicitly restated that I'm ALLERGIC to red beans to explain that I can't have them. The lady took my drink to the back and I thought she remade it. Unfortunately, I only realized she just took the red beans out when I drank from it after leaving the store and having a pain flare-up. The shells were still there, too.
I don't tell restaurants about G6PD because 1) I have been avoiding beans for years due to the excruciating pain they cause me, and 2) because it's a rare deficiency that is prevalent in certain demographics. When I called Mango Mango Desserts to confirm that the drink was NOT remade and the red beans were just taken out, the lady was very condescending, telling me that she can remake my drink "if I come back". She has been treating every one with an attitude while I was there, ignoring other customers who've been talking to her or making a request. I really didn't want to have that conversation while in severe pain, and needed the confirmation to take my meds appropriately. For context, I just had surgery two weeks before this and had thought that something wrong was going on with my stitches before noticing the shells. Only when I said that "it's NOT just an allergy, I don't have the enzyme to break red beans and so can't have them" did the lady finally say she's sorry. Not that I was looking for that when it's too late.
I ended up in the ER to receive IV painkillers, a night before my scheduled flight for an internship. Someone else could end up in an even worse and more serious situation. While I'm not a native English speaker and understand the language barriers, that lady's behavior was far from OK. Deceiving a customer to think you've remade their drink when you just pretended to is so disrespectful and neglectful of other people's health.
I can't risk ordering anything from this place again nor trust them to care at all about their customers' dietary restrictions. That lady definitely couldn't care less about the consequences of her actions.
Decor is probably the best thing about the place. It's cute looking inside. Service was ok. Wait time was short. But the food was just ok, which was a disappointment given how well it looks in photos and in real life. The flavors didn't really pop. They do have a big menu tho and prices were affordable. But it's not a place I would be raving about to my friends or be excited to visit again. For dessert, I'll probably get Mochi Donuts or Insomnia Cookies that are nearby.
