Maria’s is all about breakfast! There pancakes are absolutely giant and cover the whole plate. The cachapas (sweet corn pancakes) are my go-to. The place has a cozy, down-to-earth vibe that reflects its Colombian roots. It’s not flashy, but the food and friendly atmosphere has turned us into frequent Saturday morning customers.

I went here to have lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and the place wasn’t that busy so the complete lack of service I received was odd. I sat at the counter stools and looked at the menu for about three minutes. Decided what I wanted and return the menu to the rack meanwhile, two servers one bus guy, and possibly the owner were all behind the counter, repeatedly looking at me, but not asking if I needed anything wanted anything or if I was ready to order. I waited for about 15 minutes before I decided to get up and leave while the one lady who I’m assuming is the owner seen me sitting there waiting and waiting so I decided to leave. I would hate to see what happens when this place is busy, the service is probably nonexistent , if you get ignored on days when there are very few people in the restaurant, needless to say, I will never return to this place and as everyone says the only reason they’re getting any stars is because I have to click on one

The food here is great. The corn pancakes with cotija cheese and the stuff of legend. I also love the breakfast ham, the Colombian breakfast (weekends only), and the quesadillas.

The service is good, but food can take a bit long at times. Just make sure you aren’t alone a hurry. My only other complaint is that the music can be a bit loud on weekends.

They were NOT kidding about these corn pancakes. One of the most delicious breakfasts I've ever had. Staff were super friendly, service was fast, nice clean space. Parking lot right there, though finding the entrance is tricky.

Vegetarian options: Burrito with vegetarian sausage was very good.

Not a Colombian eatery at all. Food bland and gross. Small portions for the price (had 2 dishes with an appetizer for $54). Service was slow as driving through Colombia—and that is slow as molasses. Small black coffee for $4 and no refills. Not in a great neighborhood either. Honestly, will not return ever. It’s a a shame because we were excited to try the one restaurant that dubs itself “Colombian” in the cities. This place is anything but. I’d rather eat at Chipotle. Probably cheaper, more tasteful, and better service.

Best pancakes I ever had. I can’t comment on anything else because that’s all I had. I had the plantines pancakes. I can definitely taste the flavor of the plantines. They give it the right amount of sweetness. My brother had the wild rice pancake. It was delicious but the wild rice does not add any flavor really

Great spot for brunch and breakfast. Lovely and homey atmosphere. We had live music when we were there and it was amazing. Fast service. The food was tasty and plentiful. The plantain pancake was delicious, same with the omelette. Would definitely visit again.
