Maria's was a fantastic little local spot to grab breakfast! Despite the front room being almost full, service was great and our food came quickly. We got Pablo's omelette, Penelope's plantain pancakes, and Maria's Colombian huevos pericos...and pan de queso, obvi. Everything was fantastic. We clearly had to take some of it to go. We'll be back!

The food here beats the hell out of any fancy brunch spot in the Twin Cities. Excellent value and very sweet staff. Calentao con Huevos will put you very right for the day. Corn pancakes also very good.

Good place! There were a lot of people, but I felt like the wait for food wasn’t bad. And the waiter was really nice and attentive for how busy it was.Ordered guava juice, cheese arepas and a side of rice and beans. Definitely need to go back and try more.

I went here a few times due to the convenience of restaurants in the area but was disappointed that they have items listed on the menu that they no longer offered. I really wanted to order a salad but was informed by the waiter, that they havent offered a salad for years now.I suggested to waiter that they take it off the menu, because it's false advertising. I also wanted a cappuccino but they do not offer any vegan or non dairy options, such as Almond milk, oat meal etc. As a vegan I noticed Maria's haven't updated their options to accommodate those who do not eat meat or dairy.Overall, the customer service is good. The wait for food takes forever even when they are not crowded. It's a decent spot to grab a cup of coffee and have a quick meeting at but isn't my first place of choice to eat at.

Love this place! We always get the hot chocolate and the rest of the food is also solid. This place has a really cute vibe, nice live music, and all around a great experience! Also highly recommend the corn pancakes!

Maria's has really good food. They sometimes have more tables than staff... so if you're in for a laid-back experience, give it a try. They might even have someone playing Columbian(?) style guitar like they did when we were there.
