Let me start by saying that the desserts, specifically the panqueque is amazing!! Highly recommend. As a gluten free human, it’s hard to find deserts that wow, and this one is incredible.
Besides the deserts and cocktails though, I haven’t been all that impressed by the food.
I’ve dined here twice and tried two different pastas and thought they were just ok for the price. The mushroom rigatoni had great flavor but the mushrooms were overcooked making them hard to chew, and the pasta itself was soaked in so much oil that it sat in the bottom of the dish making it feel overly heavy. From my first experience, the malfaldine was, again, just ok.
That said, I will definitely will be back here for the cocktails, dessert, and atmosphere.

Double check your credit card statement after you eat here!!
And if they run your card for over Double what your bill was, as I experienced- don’t expect Emma to give you any form of hospitality or apology- in fact, don’t be suprised if she gets snarky with you & asks, ‘What do you want me to do about it, fire her?’ In regards to the server.
It was my first time here, I love fine dining, and enjoy some of their other restaurants and had heard great things, but I will never be back, purely based on the rudeness of Emma and how she handled me being charged an additional $50 on top of my bill. It’s so easy to make things right, but I was appalled at how I was treated, like she was doing me a favor.

The service was excellent; people were friendly, attentive, and kind!
FOOD- appetizers
Empanadas: BIG NO! I was looking forward to this, but it tasted uncooked…. I didn’t like it at all! It was too moist… flavorless. If you are looking for Argentinian empanadas, don’t waste your money.
Potato churros: SECOND NO! They look so good in the Instagram photos! They are tasteless… literally… not even salt…. I had to put ketchup on them to eat them…
DINNER:
- MUSHROOM RIGATONI: we LOVE it! It looked good and tasted super delicious.
- STUFFED CHICKEN BREAST: it was delicious as well! It is very soft and has a great combination of flavors!
Finally, it was my birthday… so they brought a scoop of ice cream … not a candle … nothing 🤭🤷🏽♀️
We ordered a black velvet cake. It was okay. It looked pretty, but the taste was not impressive!

This review is only about the brunch. I've never been for dinner, so I can't speak to that.
The brunch however, is incredibly mediocre. Super basic menu of completely average brunch foods, but at premium prices from a fancy restaurant. I ordered the salmon and burrata, which came with a below average bagel, 2 tiny pieces of smoked salmon, and some average burrata. Honestly any smoked salmon sandwich from a deli would be better. The rest of my crew had the burger, the pancakes and the avocado toast and all of it was pretty mediocre. Save the money and get brunch elsewhere, unless they decide to revamp it. It was completely packed though, so they probably won't. Hopefully I can come back for dinner sometime and see what the hype is about, because it's not from the brunch.

I came here to celebrate my birthday. The food is exquisite. My favorite is the grilled beef tongue with bread. The duck pasta is good, the octopus is salty, and the blackberry cake is also good. The service and atmosphere are both great.

Excellent food. The only reason I didn't give five stars is the cost.

Brunch Food was average like some reviews said. I sat for almost 20 mins before my server even came to greet me. Very disappointing and slow service from him. Very cute place though. I did love the decor.

I was really looking forward to celebrating my wife’s birthday here, but I walked away with nothing but disappointment after a $150 meal…
Had a $40 steak that was 60% muscle and 40% inedible, rubbery fat. Menu said the steak was supposed to be 8oz, but mine ended up being nowhere close to that and half the size compared to someone who ordered the same plate at a neighboring table.

Great ambience and delicious food...however, the portions are way too small for the entrees.

I was really excited to try Martina based on the reviews. However, my experience was not the best. I'll start with the positive, this place is beautiful. I love the dim lighting and the visibility of the wood studs in some areas is a nice touch. For appetizers, I got the potato churros, beef tongue bruschetta, and empanadas. The empanadas threw me off, I was expecting meat on the inside, but they were filled with cheese. That's my fault for not reading, so be aware of that. I was excited about the potato churros but they left more to be desired, they were simply potatoes that looked like churros, nothing unique about the taste. They had a great crunch though. I thought I saw somewhere they were sweet potato churros? That wasn't the case. The beef tongue was good, but not exceptional.
I was really disappointed in the pasta. For the prices and heightened feel of the restaurant, I expected better. I got the ravioli and orcchiette, they were both over salted and resembled something I could have made at home, not necessarily a great culinary experience. I should note I dined around 8:30pm towards the end of the night. Not sure if that made a difference. I wouldn't come back for dinner, but maybe the brunch is worth giving a shot! There has to be a reason this place has 4.7 stars.

They were busy but all the staff had positive attitudes and that made the waiting worthwhile. Food was delicious.

Not gonna lie our server seemed like they could be retrained. They were unable to give appropriate suggestions, i.e “yeah its really good!” thats not helpful. I never got my drink. They also definitely forgot to fire our main course, we felt like we were waiting waiting waiting. Probably wont be back as the food is nothing special and not worth feeling like i am trapped- but the atmosphere is cool . Our very first time here years ago was lovely, its a shame . It has so much potential.Server was mostley nice had an “im better thhan you” vibe going on. a, last time we dined in here we felt the overall vibe of the staff was quite rude and pretentious as well. Took awhile to want to come back, and wish we wouldve spent our money somewhere else for our special night. We go out often and it was hard to not compare, with that being said, we know what good service is. This is the first negative review i have felt complled to write. Maybe they need a new hiring manager, i truly dont understand how our server got hired, or why the staff is so cold. We still tipped well but... yikes.

Outstanding dinner at Martina this evening, Shoshana was great.
Had the seared scallops as an appetizer and entrees of Alaskan Halibut, Stuffed Chicken Breast, Cacio E Pepe Ravioli with sides of grilled asparagus and roasted beets.
Each dish was extremely flavorful and delicious. Atmosphere of Martina was top notch. For sure will be back!
