Everything about Matriarch feels fresh, modern, and chill in the best way. The space is beautiful - light, airy, and super welcoming. They’ve also got a rooftop patio!! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. You can tell the staff really cares, which makes the whole experience feel even better. And of course.. food - such a creative plant-based menu, I went with the spinach flatbread, and it was honestly amazing. The flavors were super fresh, the crust had a great bite to it! Definitely planning to go back and try more of the menu (that gnocchi or lasagne looked incredible!!)

Was waiting for this restaurant to open and it exceeded expectations. Flavorful, fullfilling and healthy food with excellent service. Had the Breakfast Burrito with sweet potato, black beane, cheddar, chipotle crema, cilantro and added avacodo, was amazing. The Cafe Meil was yummy with oatmilk. Going back for dinner ASAP for the lasagna. They have a rooftop area that looks fun.

We went there today for the first time and everything was excellent. I had the gnocchi, which was incredible. The gnocchi were soft and creamy, and the sauce was delicious. The summer board was also great, with some excellent vegan cheeses and dips. I do think it could have used some more bread, for a better sauce/dip to things to put sauce/dip on ratio.
We will definitely be back soon.

Matriarch just opened in Uptown and it's already a standout!
* Exceptional Food: Fresh, delicious, and incredibly generous portions. I'm now a broccolini convert thanks to their preparation, and our server was spot-on that we couldn't tell the flatbread cheese was vegan.
* Fantastic Service: Our server Ella was a great guide! She provided excellent recommendations (the white bean hummus was incredible), and you could tell she genuinely loves the food here by how she gushed about the dishes.
The staff clearly knows their menu and does a great job explaining the vegan options, with the flexibility to add an egg if you prefer.
The energy here is wonderful – the head bartender introduced herself and we chatted with Ella about her college plans and future goals.
* Great Experience: Lovely atmosphere and very good mocktails. Come with a healthy appetite – we took home a huge bag of leftovers!
We'll definitely be back soon. A must-try for vegans and skeptics alike! Highly recommended!
