This place is a diamond in the rough. Honestly I didn’t know what to expect. I got the shrimp po boy sandwich w/ fries and let me tell you it was one of the best shrimp po boys I had. That sauce they put on it was top tier . The bread to shrimp ratio I thought was perfect and the kind of shrimp they used was also great. Fries were simple which I like. I am definitely going to have to try another item here. They can justify the price is the quality is good.
HCMC Location: The food is good but costly. Sadly, what brings them way down is the extremely slow service. Today, I waited at the register for five minutes, and nobody took my order so I finally left. A table of four colleagues had been waiting for over ten minutes to get their food. That said, I hear the Chaska location is phenomenal!
Highly recommend Mayta's Cafe! They catered a work event for me this week and everyone was delighted with the food and service. We have several people with special dietary needs and Mayta's Cafe took great care to ensure they all had something delicious to eat. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience.
