We went to Merlin’s tonight for trivia. We overall had a good time and love neighborhood bars but our service was pretty bad and the food was just okay. I understand it’s busy on trivia nights but it appeared that more servers were needed. It took almost 30 minutes to get my drink and order food. Our server barely came by again and seemed too busy to flag down. The bean burger has been better other times I’ve ordered it and the fries seemed undercooked and not worth the upgrade in cost. I love the atmosphere but it seems the food, cost, and service has changed since the last time I visited. Maybe it was just an off night.

We love the vibe here. If you like UK inspired foods they do a great job. Staff was very personable with everyone. Seems like a favorite hang out for the locals. Highly recommend the deluxe reuben tots.. that corned beef needs to be on every thing.....

I love going to Merlin's - it's one of the coziest places in the Twin Cities! The drinks are great, you can get Guinness on draft, the food is delicious and I still haven't tried all the kinds of whisky (been going off and on for years). Check it out!
