I ordered an asada and a barbacoa taco. The portions were generous and the fillings were tasty. These are some of the best tacos in the city, in my opinion! Service was excellent! The devil is in the details but the details of the tacos ended up being angelic; the thinly sliced white onion, the seasoning on a asada, the juiciness of the lime wedges, the salsa offered with the tacos were all excellent. I highly recommend this spot and I hope more people try it! I meant to take photos of the food but I ate it too fast! Consider eating in as well! There are 8 seats that allow for people watching on 46th st.

This review is for their food truck. Just had the arroz con pollo but it was far too soggy/wet for me to enjoy. Might try something else next week. Also, they should consider having a few tostones or yuca fritas included as sides for the lunches on the food truck even if it means reducing the main lunch portion size. These are really side dishes, not a main lunch items, and I don't see a lot of workers in downtown paying an additional $10 to add tostones or yuca to their $15 lunch, nor having only tostones/yuca frita for lunch.

Empanadas were surprisingly good. Very flavorful, not too cheesy, and tasty sauce. Yuca fries are light and crispy.

A new favorite spot! Meson is in a walkable neighborhood and next to a cute art shop! I had the burrito with barbacoa which was very flavorful, large and had a tortilla that was deliciously crisped up on the griddle. Sorry, I was too hungry for a photo. I snacked on yuca fries walking home and love the sauces they include. Yum:) Very quick order turn around as well. Great experience and more to come.

Vegetarian options: Some of the smaller plates are vegetarian.

Just had POLLO JAMAIQUINO from the Meson food truck. It was awesome! I've not been happy with most food trucks, but this one is exceptional. Good guy working it too.

Great neighborhood spot, food quality is awesome and super affordable. Highly recommend supporting this local neighborhood spot. My only advice is they advertise online ordering, but that option for takeout wasn't on their website nor link to delivery services.

Really high quality, homemade food from the owner of Cafe Ena and other places. Proud to support his work and glad to have another place in the neighborhood! Breakfast burrito is ? they were able to make the breakfast burrito with chicken.

So happy this place back and I’m lucky to live nearby. Tonight I had the pollo jamaiquino- incredibly delicious mouth-watering flavors. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you, Mr Ruiz!!

Thrilled to have a new takeaway spot in the neighborhood doing fresh, flavorful food. Swung through for lunch and grabbed the bright, herby chilaquiles and the smoky jambalaya and they were packed and ready to go in just a few minutes. Looking forward to a breakfast visit soon.

Grabbed a Bistec sandwich for lunch and ate at one of the few dine in spots. Fresh, good value and excellent flavors. Wonderful convo with the owner who described the menu as “comfort food” and I couldn’t agree more. I’ll be back to check out some of their brunch items (who doesn’t love a breakfast burrito?) They just opened 3 weeks ago, make sure to check them out!
