This was my third time to Blondette and it was not very good. The first two times I dined at Blondette were fantastic! However, this third visit was not very good. The risotto was lacking flavor. You could taste the saffron, but that was it. It lacked depth and didn't cook off enough liquid. The service was slow, even though the restaurant wasn't busy and the server seemed to have a bit of an attitude. Beautiful place, but this visit wasn't worth the price.

We booked a 7:30pm dinner on a Friday night because we were staying at the Rand Tower. The restaurant was completely dead when we arrived. It appears to be an upscale French restaurant on their website, but the other clientele were wearing baseball hats and sweats. It was a perfectly warm night and their prized patio wasn't open for dinning. While the waitress was very nice, the experience was overall less than impressive. To start, the menu was extremely limited and they were already out of their duck entree by 7:30pm. We ordered the Beef Tartare appetizer. It was honestly inedible. Iced cold, only came with two pieces of toast, and looked horrific. Like cold neon green soup surrounding a floating island of canned meat. The toast tasted strongly like natural gas. We decided to pay the bill and had dinner somewhere else. Two drinks and one appetizer came to $67.82 before tip. We were charged $4.00 for bread (which was suppose to be part of the appetizer), a separate $2.00 charge for the juice in each vodka cranberry, and a 5% wellness charge. If you are looking for a nice restaurant during your stay, I recommend you book outside of the hotel.

Excellent experience, food, service, and ambience. Special thanks because we were very late and didn't realize they were closing. The staff were very gracious and understanding & our food and drinks were still delicious. We all loved every bite of our food. Thank you to the amazing staff!

We were very much looking forward to the experience at Blondette. Unfortunately, there must've been an issue with staff or resources, since it took 20 minutes for our cocktails to be made and brought to the table, it took 30 minutes for the appetizers to arrive, and another 30 minutes for the main entrées to arrive, and it took over 20 minutes to receive the bill after we asked for it. The manager must have known there was a problem, because he indicated that they would not be charging for the dessert, which took yet another 20+ minutes to arrive. Ultimately what should've been a two hour business meeting turned into almost 4 hours. The food was appetizing, although the value seemed a little off for the price. Insult to injury, a day later I received a call, indicating the restaurant didn't in fact charge my credit card and needed me to call back to square up the bill, once again. Would I go back? With so many choices in the Twin Cities, unlikely.

Our dining experience was simply outstanding! Our party of two shared the burrata tartine, potatoes, which were divine, salmon and scallops. We loved everything. The restaurant was quiet, and service was nice. I returned after my theatre engagement and enjoyed a quiet glass of wine in the adjacent bar. I plan to return on my next trip to Minneapolis.

We loved our entire dining experience! Froal was our server and was very attentive, gave fantastic recommendations and was a joy to talk with. The beef tartare was incredible and such a unique combination of ingredients and flavor!

Poor service. Food was awful. Servers dressed like they were going to the spa. Will never go there again. It's a Marriott property so expected some adherence to corporate rules of good service.

So much potential with a great location and beautiful decor. However, the service and atmosphere were lacking and the drinks were worse. None of the specialty rum cocktails listed online were available when we went. We ordered classics instead which were nothing special. That plus the stiff, uncomfortable vibe in the lounge makes this a one and done.

Only 1 valet! Waited over 20 minutes to be helped. I ordered the chicken dinner which came out cold! The server did not check back to the table often or after the food runner delivered the meals. Had long periods of waiting for the server and the restaurant was not busy for a Friday night!

This place really went downhill. I was surprised by how slow the service was, how dead it was and honestly how mid the food was. I was there less than a year ago and it was a completely different restaurant.

PRICE GOUGE during the Microsoft failure. We were stranded in MN when our flights were cancelled. I booked 3 rooms for 4 adult using the Marriott Bonvoy app. When we arrived with no flight, no luggage, and other reservations Neliu (at the front desk) stated he couldn't locate the reservation in his system. He went on to say that rate of $170 wasn't available that weekend. I showed him the email confirmation, and the confirmation in the app. His focus was on charging us $420 per room per night. We left and ended up in a Microtel for $500 for 2 nights after waiting until 2am for a no show so we could get those rooms instead. The next day there was a reservation cancelation. How can there be a cancelation when there was no reservation. I have since read multiple reviews from this hotel where ppl are being denied entry for one reason or another. Neliu claimed not to be able to find a reservation when I had documenting of it solely so he could price gouge for over double the price THAT IS ON THE MARRIOTT BONVOY app. I also saw that the Residence Inn had the same rate of $170 on the app. I have called back to Rand and spoke to Jeannie who said she would contact the GM, Apple Noble, and I haven't heard from anyone on this matter. It's been 3 days.

Very disappointed with our experience. Despite indicating on the reservation and in person several times that we were celebrating a birthday with a small group, we were barely provided service. We felt the waiter had forgotten about us, as they only came around a couple of times over a span of 2 hours. Not that it was busy, there was probably 10 guests in the whole restaurant. We inquired about the birthday “treat” the dessert came out half an hour later, with no candle on it. Another server that has been helping out the initial waiter recognized there should have been a candle and took the dish back. It is a lovely rooftop spot, and quiet. Quiet likely because they are unable to retain customers due to poor service.
