I highly recommend taking any opportunity to book a coursed dinner at Blondette. I had an absolutely wonderful experience — a perfect evening from start to finish. Chef Carl personally came out to introduce each curated dish, sharing the inspiration behind the menu and pairing every course with thoughtfully selected, delicious wines. 🍷 My partner and I are already looking forward to future events. An exceptional dining experience all around.

Anything prepared by Chef Carl is a culinary masterpiece. Blondette in the historic Rand Tower is a beautiful upscale venue.

This was a rough experience. Food was good, but it was kind of sad watching the staff implode. Just seemed to have no idea what they were doing and it took forever to seat us and other groups. Food was ok. So sad because the space is fantastic and could be wonderful.

We had reservations but there wasn't anyone at the door to greet and seat us. There was no one ahead of us, just us. Tables were empty; the restaurant was not busy. Twice a server walked past us and didn't once assure us someone was coming to seat us. We waited around 10 minutes where the host finally showed and was still busy talking to a guest leaving, so we continued to wait. He ignored us until the guest who was leaving walked away from him. Food and service were ok. It was my daughter's birthday lunch of her choice and I just felt like the atmosphere was not the friendliest. Unfortunately, not interested in coming back here again.

Came here as part of Doors Open Minneapolis, so my review is for the building itself an not the food or service.

This is definitely a spot you come to hangout and chill. If the drinks are good, great! But that's not the real reason you come here. The vibe is relaxed, its well lit during the day and feels like a speakeasy at night. Has a variety of seating for whatever type of group you're with. Right next to the Blondette.

A classy and delectable spot, with friendly and professional service, and beautifully refreshing cocktails. Would be 5 stars, except the 6 oz. ribeye steak I ordered medium-rare came out medium. The server did notice this and offered to have it replaced, but I was quite hungry and it was otherwise deliciously seasoned. It would have been nice to have the steak portion only comped, but c'est la vie, it's only brunch.

Beautiful setting with so much light and warmth coming through. It would be just as beautiful during a thunderstorm! Service was great- very happy with our server! Food was excellent. The avocado toast was so tasty and the burger just as good! Will definitely be back!

Don't let older negative reviews impact your decision to go here. We had a great experience for brunch. The food was tasty, the service was fantastic, and the restaurant space is beautiful. All the windows let in tons of natural light. The food menu was slightly limited, but the items we ordered were very good. I saw other reviewers complaining about the reservation deposit. We had no issues with this. The deposit was refunded almost instantly after we arrived for our reservation. This restaurant is a gem and I hope more people realize it.

This place is overly expensive for what you get. The food is good just over priced. They upcharge for EVERYTHING. We asked for a drink with rum in it, as the waitress told us we could order drinks off the menu. The waitress went back and checked for us and told us they had El Dorado rum, not telling us about the associated upcharge. We were thinking the drinks would cost around the price of the other drinks ($18). We were surprised when the bill came out to see that the price of the drinks were almost DOUBLE. They offered us extra bread for the steak tartar which was an extra $9....mind you, the bread was burnt! The waitress doesn't tell you any of this. Overall the food was good, just not worth the almost $300 we paid for it.

Lovely setting, attentive service, delicious meal and exciting cocktails. We loved every aspect of our date night dinner. Beef tartare, scallops and duck were all outstanding and beautiful. Passionfruit tart also very nice. Don't miss the passionfruit cocktail with bubbles, sidecar or espresso martini. Exceptionally good.

I had to make a down payment for the reservation that was not applied against the bill. And none of the seafood was available on the menu. Otherwise an excellent experience.

This was HORRIBLE! It was clearly a knock off to make money on the holiday. All the menu items were intentionally cold (my guess is because this isn't a real restaurant so that made pre-prep easier to have a cold menu), first time I had ice cream as a second course. None of the staff or servers had a clue what was happening, everyone was awkward and un-attentive. I realized later it was because they were hired for the night and lost. It was extremely over priced. All of the promises of an event atmosphere and party favors for a festive night were fake, none of that happened. I feel extra bad for the “igloo experience” for a couple hundred extra, it was a plastic tent outside in the cold with a space heater and blankets. This whole thing was scam! All around awful.

We waited about two hours just for the food. Plus the “Christmas eve dinner” special was forced on us even though I selected “standard reservations) when I was book the reservation.

The Cider Pork Belly and Brussel Sprouts were amazing, Our waitress was not very personable and didn't come check on us. The drinks were extremely overpriced
