A beautiful addition to the culinary landscape of Minneapolis, in a neighborhood that is becoming a top dining destination. Minari is a stunning restaurant offering a new dining experience that involves a delicious discovery of new flavors, beautiful presentation and a sense of community. Being able to view the chefs in the open kitchen and interacting with those offering the dim sum adds to the experience. Enjoy courses on its own, dim sum on its own or mix it up with a combination, along with banchan...allows a new experience each time you dine. Persimmon Salad, Squid Ink Dumpling, Pearl Meatball, Crab Ramyeon, Banchan Platter, Mapo Tofu and Korean Fried Chicken are on my recommendation list!

Parking: Parking lot available across the street.

My first impression was the vibe and it felt like walking into a NYC restaurant - absolutely loved it. The food was incredible and again nothing like we have in Minneapolis. Can’t wait to go back!

Enjoyed a lovely dinner here with friends. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine offerings. The drinks from the bar were out of this world. It is very clear a lot of thought went into the cocktail offerings. The menu was amazing, the pork jowl melts in your mouth, the steak was super tender and cooked perfectly. The restaurant has a very cool atmosphere, and together all of these factors make for an amazing dining experience.

Lovely dinner at Minari! We sat in the lounge area (near the bar) and our server was very attentive to our needs! We each got a bbq item and shared the banchan dishes, and then got a variety of dim sum items as the carts came by. The drinks were very good, I liked the Noburu and the old fashioned! The pork jowl bbq was melt in your mouth amazing, and I liked the sauces it came with.

One tiny critique is that the dim sum carts seemed to prioritize the main dining area. We waited around for a few items we wanted to try; our server did a good job directing them our way!

The main reason this isn't a three star is because of how I was treated by the hostess. It was after 8:30 on a rainy cold Monday and she refused to seat me at a table in the restaurant after I asked for one. The place was not packed so I don't understand why I was refused a table. She made it clear I was only welcome at the bar or at a bar table. The service at the bar was great and the items I tried were very salty as other people have mentioned. The dim sum squid dumplings had a heaviness that I have never experienced before. The side of rice with seasoning was too spicy and the rice had an unpleasant overly sticky texture. it also arrived cold. The steak was great. It's early days so don't expect anyone to know how many tables there are in the dining room or to be able to tell you the components of some of the dishes beyond the menu description. I am somewhat confused by the large size of the restaurant compared with the minimal parking options available in the immediate vicinity. Be prepared for a long walk to your car.

When I reflect on my meal here the most memorable thing was the indifference and coldness I experienced from the hostess which is the reason I will never go back.

Dan dan noodles were out of this world, we ordered it twice! The texture of the pasta and mushrooms were great. However, the dim sum was way too salty and I don't think I have ever said that about dim sum before. I love salt, but this was close to inedible. I'll probably stick to traditional dim sum like Mandarin Kitchen/Jade Dynasty. Would come back for just the dan dan noodles, and to try some other regular menu items.

This place was amazing! I went with 4 people and it was perfect to split so we could try everything! The carts that go around are so fun, and everything we tried was amazing. The drinks were great and not as expensive as a lot of nicer places! Our server (Danny, I believe) was amazing!! So friendly and helpful!!! I'll be back as soon as I can!

Can’t recommend this place enough. Fantastic staff members. Very well priced. Awesome food, came with three others and we had a good mixture of Dim Sum and regular menu items. Mocktails were great. Don’t skip Dessert.

My wife asked if I wanted to go to an 8:30 reservation at Minari. At first I told her I couldn't go because I had work. Then I realized she meant 8:30 PM, not AM. The place was buzzing and everything we ordered blew us away. Can't want to come back soon. Highly recommend!!

Had such a great experience at Minari. The ambiance is so cute. Food was very tasty and the menu has so many options. We had the squid ink dumplings, fried wontons, pork belly, jelly noodles, and long beans. Our server was very knowledgeable and explained all of the different dishes in detail. Would really recommend for everyone to try. We can't wait to go back!
