Fantastic service and food!

We had a reservation on a Friday night, and there was a line out the door when we arrived. After asking a couple people in line, we realized they all had reservations and were waiting to check in. We waited for 30-ish minutes, all while people bulldozed us through the door to check in ahead of us. When we finally checked in, we were told it was going to be more waiting. Finally, they asked if we wanted to eat in the lounge area instead of the dining area we made reservations for. We agreed, although we should have simply left. The lounge area was busier and louder, which was to be expected. Drinks were good, I appreciated the creative mocktail options. Our appetizer was bad, barely any flavor. My pasta entree was incredible, though. It’s unfortunate that I’ll never be returning to order it again after being made to wait 40 minutes with a reservation, and never ending up with a table in the dining room.

Delicious! If you are lactose intolerant, ask about the dairy free menu. The bar program is on point. Zach is the best!

Went here for my anniversary and had a pretty good experience. Arrived around 20 minutes early and was seated which was nice. In my reservation memo I explained how it was my anniversary and didn’t want to be near an entrance/where traffic is. Unfortunately we were sat in the corner where some workers were, and was bumped numerous times by workers while trying to eat. Our server was very nice and apologized when she bumped into me. She gave us great service and was fast as well. Thanks again!

AMAZING food. Insanely good seasoning choices. Beautiful oysters. Texturally perfect pasta. Not too loud even though it was quite busy.

One of the best meals I've had out all year. I liked the bluefin tuna gimbap a lot!

Wow. I waited to come here and I don’t know why now. I’m a sucker for a restaurant with one or two reeeally well done plant-based/vegan options and Minari did not disappoint. I got the avocado dip and the Dan Dan mafaldine as well as two cocktails and everything was great. Staff were very accommodating and kind and I really enjoyed my solo date here. 😊 Def bringing my fiance next time tho!! He’d love this place.

This was easily one of the best meals I've had in my life. Every dish on our table was exquisitely balanced and bursting with flavor. The ambiance and service makes the experience feel really high class. While we ordered many things, I truly believe you cannot go wrong at this restaurant. I can't describe everything ate, so I am exclusively discussing what was incredible (and not-so-incredible at the end). The tell-tale sign is my photos are terrible because I couldn't wait to eat.

What we can't stop thinking about:
(1) The meatballs(!) - These are a twist on the classic Chinese meatballs with rice for filling. This style of meatball is naturally juicy, but by putting the rice outside the meatball, it creates a dumpling-like effect for the meat. They really pack a punch of ginger-y goodness in this meat.
(2) Fatty Tuna - This a raw tuna tartare situation served over sesame rice, topped with salmon roe, and coupled with nori seaweed to build your own wraps. You serve yourself to portion the tuna on the nori sheets, and it is bursting with flavor.
(3) Dan Dan Noodles - yum yum yum. These are the classic spicy, nutty dan dan noodles with bok choy and king oyster mushrooms. It is a beautiful dish visually and taste-wise.
(4) Pork Jowl - This is my personal opinion, but I thought this incredible representation of KBBQ was a juicy, fatty dream.

I know I said I would discuss the incredible, but I will say two things we did not like. One was the caramel miso tart. The flavor was good, but it is incredibly dense. It was really hard to physically remove it from the plate and grab every component. For that, it loses a point. The pickled perilla leaf on the banchan platter was...not really eaten. I think this is a matter of taste preference about pickled perilla leaf rather than it actually being bad.

Good food, but felt like there was room for other elements to make it great. They were out of the burger which was a bummer as a few people around us had it and it looked great.

Dumplings were good, much better with the chili oil, otherwise a touch bland (we had the Shrimp & pork).

KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) was really good, we got the gochujang glaze- crunch was awesome, but again a side of sauce or something else to make more flavorful would have made it awesome.

Shaved salad was fine, needed a crunchy elements otherwise was a little damp and lacked texture.

Hand rolls were good- Tuna was our favorite.

Vibe was low key, dark colors, nice winter spot vs summer given no patio space etc.

The service here definitely needs work or experience. Including the manager. I’m 27, out to dinner with my parents visiting MN, and my girlfriend (also 27) and I forgot our IDs after biking earlier in the day. We explained the situation and even showed pictures of our licenses, passports, plus our credit cards. It’s painfully obvious we’re not 20 years old. Still, the server refused, saying she had to see a physical card and “couldn’t use her judgement.” Which makes zero sense, because she didn’t ID my parents. Which is a judgment call..

Look, I get the goal is to keep under-21s from drinking and doing things legal. but come on…read the room. Don’t take the job that seriously when it’s clear as day we’re of age. Same with the GM who came over. At some point, you just have to make an exception call when you know the truth.
