Good quality ice cream with unique flavors. Just wished the service was a little friendlier since we're paying 6-7 dollars for a single scoop in a cup. Also not crazy about their constant pushing for a tip... for 5 seconds of actual work.

Stand alone little spot serving premium hard ice cream! 12 or so flavors encompassing a variety from vanilla to coffee, or bubble gum. The guy who served me was awesome. Made the experience so out of this world. There are several umbrellas and benches in the front and behind the building to enjoy your ice cream.
Parking: Basically you park on or near Minnehaha Ave. Wherever there is an open spot, you park. Or on a side street.
Kid-friendliness: It's an ice cream parlor. Of course the staff is amazing. They also flattened some old tie downs in the concrete to make it less likely to trip or injur yourself

This place does service with a smile and fresh, delicious ice cream. Lots of flavors, rotating stock. Cones are crispy, not stale. Enormous portions. We have lots of artisan shops in Minneapolis, and most of those have seen a sharp decline in service, quality, and freshness of food since the pandemic. The opposite is true at Minnehaha Scoop. The staff seem happy, supportive of each other, and on the ball. The owner of this little ice cream shop must care a great deal about making sure the basics get done right. It really shows.
First time visiting here. Brought my grandkids for a treat. Great service. Njoyed my orange dreamicile float. My grandkids loved the Cotton candy twist and Lemon maringe pie ice cream
