Such a cute cafe! Nice atmosphere. Fun to get the dumplings and a coffee. I had a cafe miel, vegetable dumplings and a doughnut. Good spot for a chat with a friend or to do some heads down work. I recommend parking on a side street vs. on central due to the traffic.
I particularly enjoyed the wall of notes and Polaroid pictures in the entry.

Beware going there early as their Momo dumplings won’t be available until closer to 10 even though they open at 8. Also was told their dumplings were frozen when asked how much longer for my order. Finally got the beef momo togo since I had somewhere to be at and unfortunately it tasted dry and wasn’t as good as I hoped. Lattes on the other hand were good and worth the trip! Donuts were cold even though I got it right when it got delivered.
Service was very fast for everything except for the dumplings. Got there a little before 9 and didn’t get the dumplings until closer to 9:40 even though I was told it’ll be 15 mins.
This cafe really relied on natural light as the back of the cafe is more on the darker side.

I’ve been here twice in 1 week I love it so much. So far I’ve tried the Ube White Mocha and Pistachio Rose Latte - both were delicious and had beautiful presentation. I also had the lavender donut twice - the favor wasn’t too sweet. The space inside is beautiful and I look forward to going back to try some

Great little coffee shop!!! Very affordable coffee, especially for northeast, and absolutely delicious. Staff were wonderful and service was sharp. I loved hanging out there for a couple hours to study. My only gripe is there are no bike racks outside or anywhere nearby, and I had to store my bike in a friend's car. Maybe something to fix as the weather gets warmer?
Parking: No bike parking.

This new Café is adorable, I loved the design and the area, plus you don't have to pay for parking. You can park and stay as long as you like.
The staff were so friendly and even tried to recall each client's name. The Café has a lot of books, so you can grab any random books to read.
I got the ube latte and the momo or dumplings, I liked how they put the spicy sauce on the side, so you can add, however, spicy you liked.
The environment is amazing. I loved the bookshelf part the most, plus the mini camera for customers to put notes and pictures as a memory.
That's so cute.

Ask for physical cup when having latte. It is great!
I had to stop by once I knew one of my favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities was opening a coffee shop. Momo Cafe does not disappoint. There's a good variety of drinks (including the 🔥🔥🔥 Iron Goddess of Mercy oolong) and they have doughnuts from Bogart's. Plus, they have Momos as well, either meat, veg, or mixed. I went with the pistachio rose latte with oat milk. It's not usually my sort of thing, but it was delicious. A really nice balance with the pistachio and rose (rose is easy to go too heavy on).
The interior is really cute! There's a Polaroid camera immediately upon entering and customers have already snapped pics and put them up in celebration. There is Tibetan artwork all over and a good selection of books that I assume one can read.
Momo RUNS Central Ave...now you can have glorious Momo morning, noon, and night! Sonam and his family are stellar people too, get out and support the heck out of them!
Dietary restrictions: Many different non-dairy milk options.

Do not listen to Suzanne!!
This place is so awesome! We love Momo Sushi and Sonam and were very excited for the cafe!
Their soft open was wonderful. They gave out free pastries to everyone, not just Suzanne, and not because they were “a day old” but as a treat for customers because they didn’t have their baked goods up and running yet.
Their chai is great! I did have sauce with my beef momos and they are delicious with and without (:
