Bad experience, I had gotten the sushi bucket and was less than impressed. The chef's choice of rolls were okay at best and the sashimi was way too thick and the tuna was expired. On top of that it took +45 minutes for us to get our food even though others who were sat down after us got the same food before us. When they realized that didn't apologize. The staff was understandably stressed with a packed restaurant but yelled at each other in front of customers, speaking to us while looking away, and had a bad attitude. I know a lot of people speak highly of this place, and the appetizers we had were great, but I can't say the same with this experience.

Fun vibe for Friday night, food was delicious. I love that we were seated right away.
Service was terrible! bitchy server who wouldn’t answer questions or take our empties.

We ordered pickup including amaebi, uni, ikura, ika sushi; chef choice sashimi, kanpyo roll, spider roll.
Pick up was on time, efficient and the order was 100% correct.
Very busy on a weekday evening = highly popular restaurant and for good reason
The sashimi is phenomenal for MSP standards. Sure it's not a NYC or west coast sushi restaurant but the portion sizes and freshness of the fish on the chef's choice sashimi platter was the TOPS the list of best sashimi I've had in Minneapolis.
Sure MOMO doesn't have all the super fancy rolls like Billy Sushi, Sushi Fix and other non-buffet places around town, And I definitely can't compare the place to kado no mise as it would be a disservice... that place deserves at least a Bib Gourmand rating just for bringing kaiseki and setting the fresh sushi standard in MSP.
Only ding against MOMO Sushi is that while 2 sets of chopsticks were included the only bothered to include a 1/2 filled container of miso soup. For over a $100 order we would have expected at least 2 servings of miso soup!!! Regarding service there, it was extra busy (line out the door onto the street) so I'll cut some slack.
The times we've dined-in service was always quicker than expected.

I loved everything. Also, I don't usually care for fried rice. I don't dislike it, but I always preferred fried noodles to fried rice. Here, I was jealous of my partner's order of fried rice. And what a good price everything was! And good portions. Would highly recommend.

I have had better sushi at a mall tbh. The environment was good but waiter came up to me asking me if I wanted to order something after already putting in food. The lunch prices seems reasonable but felt that overly hype and too expensive. Guess that looks can be deceiving

My experience at this sushi restaurant was nothing short of exceptional! We sampled a variety of dishes from their menu, and each one was truly outstanding. Even our last-minute takeout order was prepared with remarkable speed and care. The level of service is second to none, and the chefs' culinary skills are truly impressive. I can wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking an incredible sushi dining experience!

Good food, amazing service and very friendly staff. They are busy,, oopppss they always busy, the wait for food more longer but still make sense because momo sushi so popular in the area and they have a nice patio and cute indoor dining room. And they have free street parking only. Worth to try! Very recommended this place.

Cute (especially the outdoor area), cozy atmosphere and delicious food. My dining companion loved the hamachi kama (it's kind of a rare treat in the Cities) and my sushi was fresh. The free starter soup is a nice touch. Servers are friendly and prices are excellent!

This is one of our go-to local spots for sushi. We usually get the 'sushi bucket' plus some extras. Great value for money. Staff is all super friendly.

MO sushi, no MO problems. The rolls were fire tier sushi, and the seaweed salad really satiated your need for edible aquatic plants. Despite being absolutely poppin on a Friday night, we didn't wait long (15 mins) to get sushied out. They mean business here, don't cramp their style. When the server approaches, betta get your roll on and have your order ready. Mow down and take your taste buds to sushi chow town.
