Mon Petit Chéri is hands-down one of the most talked-about spots among our guests visiting from downtown Stillwater! Whether they’re fueling up before a relaxing nature retreat or winding down after a calm, tech-free escape, this café always comes up as a favorite.

The pastries are flawless, the coffee is consistently top-tier, and the atmosphere is the perfect blend of cozy and elevated. It’s one of those places that really adds to the charm and experience of a Stillwater getaway.

As a wellness-focused destination just north of town, we’re so lucky to have thoughtful spots like this in the local loop. Highly recommend a stop here—you’ll leave happy, full, and probably planning your next visit.

Check your receipt carefully. Very disappointed in whole experience. Farmer's Breakfast online is $13.00, on their menu at the restaurant is $15.00, on their board is $17.00, on my receipt was $21.00 (extra charge for 2 eggs of $4.00, which is supposed to be included in item - we did not order or get more than 2 eggs). We waited in line for 10 minutes, then it took almost 30 minutes after that to get our order even though there were only 18 people in the restaurant at 9:30 on a Monday morning.

The eggs had runny whites and were cold, potatoes were cold, coffee was cold (it wouldn't dissolve the sugar). The only thing worth eating was the three pieces of bacon. Brioche French Toast was hard to cut but tasted okay, not great.

$21 is excessive for eggs, bacon, toast and potatoes when there isn't a waiter and you have to wipe down the table before sitting and bus your own plates.

Nice decor, but too noisy.

Waited 30 minutes for my breakfast to be served.... Eggs were cold and runny, potatoes, toast and coffee were also cold. Jelly sauce tasted like cheap wine... online, menu and bulletin board were 3 different prices. I am amazed it has over 4 stars.... If I could give it less than I would....

My cousin, Donna, told me (!) that we have to go to Mon Petite Cheri in Stillwater, Minnesota! Mon Petite Cheri had a nice choice of food, baked goods and pastries. We had a ham and cheese croque monsieur and a cheesy jalapeño roll. Both yummy. Cortado for each us rounded out a nice brunch. Mon Petite Cheri was busy and the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient.

Stillwater is a beautiful destination Village on the St. Croix river. It is a charming town with great food, fun atmosphere and antique and secondhand store shopping. Not necessarily what I personally want to do, but I know that my wife, Shari, would love it. The waterfront is ideal for strolling and viewing across the river to Wisconsin. The vertical lift bridge dates back about 95 years and is now a pedestrian walkway. The whole area is quite picturesque.

Food is great, ambience is great, but there is BLARING punk rock that is ruining my experience! I mean KNOW you clientele!

My first time here in quite a while and I was reminded why by the typical atrocious drinks service. If you want a double frootloop peanut butter cinnamon frappe with extra ice and are prepared to wait for it until hell has nearly frozen over, this may be your place. But if you want a simple cup of coffee or hot chocolate, run, don’t walk, to somewhere else.

Their jalapeño cheddar roll is my favorite thing to get in stillwater. Genuinely the best place in stillwater. :)

Orange blueberry Roll was missing the blueberry. Beignets where cooked brown and hard. Service was slow, or it took forever for them to over cook the Beignets, either way, Cant recommend this spot unfortunately.

The place is gorgeous and the staff is nice. Service took quite a long time for just an egg sandwich, but my eggs were extremely overcooked (asked for over easy but there was no runny yolk at all) and the English muffin was so dense. I felt like I was just eating a whole loaf of bread with two eggs in the middle for $12. I didn't get past two bites before tossing the rest. Big waste of money.

My favorite little cafe! The beverages, baked goods, and dishes are so delish here. Everything is made in house, to order. Lots of seasonal choices and staff favorites suggested. The building itself is super charming, exactly what you’d expect from historic Stillwater. I’ve been here quite a few times now and can safely say, I’ve never been disappointed with anything from here. Coffees, teas, cookies, farmers breakfast, pancakes, all delicious!

Lovely small cafe with seriously delicious food. I am a foodie and have had the food at most of the places in this town. This place is one of the very best in Stillwater. The biscuits and gravy warm my southern soul and the bakery really shines. Long waits on the weekend and a little pricy are my only negatives. Beautiful place and awesome staff.
