To busy so I decided not to enter and went to St Paul for St Patrick's day.

In town? Staying at the Moxy? Want to get out of the hotel bar and go somewhere that's laid back and doesn't have a ton of riff raff. Well, this is the place .Go inside and order a pint.

Pretty good poors on the drinks and service is great everytime I've gone. The food isn't really good. As a chef and an enjoyer of Irish pub food, it needs improvement.

Obviously the general theme of Irish pubs is to be dark but it was difficult to read the menus and drink specials. I know what you're going to say... "get out your phone light old timers," but it was darker than a typical pub. The food was amazing though, and the service was good when the waitress was able to get around to us. Would definitely suggest you stop in for a bite to eat and drink before going to a show at the Uptown Theater.

We drove 10hrs to see the Vikings vs Chiefs. Staying in Uptown, we needed a place to relax and have a bite to eat. We were immediately greeted by this spectacular waitress named April. April was friendly, professional, and she was quick to trade hats? My wife and I own a bar and restaurant where we are from. She was wearing a Morrissey's hat, one that she probably paid for, and I was wearing one of our pieces of swag. Upon asking her if she wanted to trade, she immediately said heck yes!! And now I am proud swapper of a new hat!! The food was quick and top notch. This is the type of service we as restaurant owners expect from our own employees, but am always delighted to be a part of. Hats off!! As the story goes, we stayed a but longer. And long story short, Andy our bartender kept us sayinh one more! Thank you Morrissey's Irish Pub and crew in Uptown, MN!! We will be back!!
