Had some buddies visiting from out of town so I brought them here and the food and service was fantastic as usual. The coconut curry ramen has a bit of a kick but is fantastic. Other buddies had classic ramen and were big fans

Very good and fast service the environment is so atheistic and cute. The food was amazing over all took us an hour and a half total to have dinner with a group of 5. Love this restaurant and will definitely be back.

This place will blow your mind no matter what you get. I seriously cannot recommend the food and service more enough. The ramen is a given as it’s definitely some of the best ramen you can get in the twin cities, although the bar isn’t very high unfortunately. What really surprised me was how good the rest of their entrees were. The fried rice alone is pretty much as good as it gets. If you’re in the mood for some of the best Asian food Minneapolis has to offer you don’t wanna skip this place.

Pork is tender but more like traditional bbq than Japanese ramen. Noodles are bouncy and cooked nicely. However, the broth is so lackluster it prompted me to write this review. I would never order this again because of the bland broth. I am so underwhelmed, it tastes just like boxed bone broth. Has anyone in the kitchen ever been to Japan? The backbone (literally) of this meal is the broth and this completely misses the mark.

I picked this spot for a date night, and I was really nervous about it, but from our super helpful and kind waiter to the amazing food (listen y’all - that Japanese fried chicken and pork buns are legit), we both couldn’t have asked for a better night out.
I literally got this text the day after:
“ Still thinking about the bao bun!”
Funny enough, I told my coworker about this place, and she freaked out because she went there once years ago, and always wanted to go back but forgot the name lol.
So we spend a good hour talking about how the food and service was above and beyond the best in Minneapolis.

The food here is always on point. Benny Buns are my favorite, give them a try if you like a runny egg. Service staff are always friendly, even on a busy night. I go here often!

I've been here 3 times ! I love the service, the waiters are always very nice for me. they'll explain the menu options, taste and what they recommend if needed. it's more on the pricey side. I did say 4/5 for food, only because not sure if it was because it was busier or not. I have had better tasting ramen of the mushroom in the past. it's a good thing to try.
beautiful decorations, visually appealing and a candle at the table. it's nice to try for the experience and very good. I went here for an early birthday treat with my boyfriend and our 1 yr anniversary of being in a relationship. I'd say worth it. the look of the resteraunt is so nice, I love the dim lighting. it's a little busier at times, also I got full the last time so we didn't get dessert at all. I got a mushroom ramen, my boyfriend got classic ramen. ❤️

You can't talk about Moto-i with out mentioning their in-house sakes. The staff is great at helping the guests understand the different types of sake and describing the flavor profiles. The food is also well executed. I am by no means an expert on this style of food but everything I have tried has been great. On a cold day the Ramen and warm sake hits the spot.

Such a cute place, I really liked the dim lights and plants everywhere! The atmosphere was very cute, and the food was good! Drunken noodles were good, wanted more spice but I was able to add a chili oil.
I would recommend the appetizer wings and also the dessert donut balls.

They are very good about allergies! We had a fish and nut allergy on our ticket and they were proactive in asking about allergies. We felt comfortable eating our food and everything we ordered was delicious. I recommend getting buns to split and then your own individual ramens.
