Food is okay but this restaurant is quite dirty. Bathroom was horrendous and our table was sticky and smelly. Drinks were weak. Will not be returning.

The food was good. However, the lighting is WAY too dark. We had to use flashlights on our phones to read the menu. The server was friendly and helpful and acknowledged that lighting is an issue for several customers.

After having some great authentic ramen in the cities, I wanted to try a more modern take on the classic dish. Decided to give moto-i a shot, and they did not disappoint!First off, it has to be said - the atmosphere is incredible. The place is clean, cool, and stylistic. It’s dimly lit, and they aren’t afraid to show off their love of Sumo. This love isn’t superficial - they often have matches on several of the many TVs around the space, and they even run a fantasy Sumo league. This is just a killer place to hang out, even without their food. The food is where they really shine though. I’m from Kansas, and we love our BBQ - when I say this is the best pork I’ve had in the Twin Cities, I’m not joking. The ramen as a whole is great, though definitely more modern than authentic in style. The same pork from the ramen is used in their outstanding pork buns, which is great. The menu is more focused than a typical ramen restaurant, but everything is delicious.Overall I would definitely recommend moto-i for some killer pork, modern ramen, and a cool place to hang out.

Never had a bad experience here. I love the atmosphere and the food, and the staff have always been friendlyVegetarian options: A good portion of the menu can be made vegan or vegetarian, but be sure to ask for it from your server.

My husband and I went for the first time last night. It was a Monday night so it was fairly quiet in there. It's dark with a really cool ambience, absolutely a great date night spot. We both got flights (I got sake and my husband got shochu). We sat and the bar. The bartender was super knowledgeable about both. They also gave us lots of info about special events they run since we are new to the area and are planning on coming back. We got the house made pickles and fries as a starter, vegan and classic ramen for dinner. Everything was so good and fresh! The vegan ramen was the best veg ramen I have ever had, super rich and flavorful. Love this spot!Vegetarian options: The vegan ramen was some of the best I have ever had! They have tons of vegetarian options and several vegan ones, plus delicious drinks. If you are veg put this place on your list!

Dined here today, we were a party of 4. We were greeted with a smile and promptly seated at our table in the bar area. The table was clean and not sticky. Lights were low, giving a nice ambiance feel. My daughter ordered the Daisy chain (mocktail) and substituted the club soda for Sprite. It was delicious. I tasted Sake for the first time, and it was surprisingly good. A cross between a semi sweet white wine and peach schnapps but with no peach, it'll make sense when you try it. It was the first one on top of their sake menu. I also had their local cola, which reminded me of RC cola. I enjoyed it. For apps, we ordered the Rangoons, which, although they have no Crab, were deliciously filled and the pork belly pieces, which were juicy and crispy. We also had the pork belly and crispy chicken steamed buns. Each sauce complements the protein very well. Again, they were delicious. All 4 of us had the classic ramen. It was quite tasty and served very hot. We really enjoyed this place, and although we will return 10/10 for the great food, the experience wouldn't have been the same if it weren't for our server Tyler! From greeting and welcoming us to explaining the menu and giving us some suggestions, to refilling my drink multiple times just before it ended Tyler is the type of server and person that genuinely likes what he does, and does it very ,very well, that, definitely tied the whole experience while elevating it. We are looking forward to our next visit.

I've never been here before tonight. Our food was fabulous. Our group was mixed up on the time. So our group of 7, arriving at different times, put in orders at 3 different times. The staff just went with it. Our waiter was attentive and amazing!! Thank you for an awesome first experience at your establishment!!

I’ve lived and eaten delicious food in San Francisco, Seattle, and Los Angeles so my point of view is from that perspective. The service was fast friendly and five star. The atmosphere was very enjoyable and just dark enough to feel cozy. The food was average. The crispy pork belly was chewy and not tender. I had the red curry Ramen, and the broth was tasty. The salad was average.I am comparing this to some stunning Ramen that I’ve had in other places in the world. I would encourage people to come here and try out all the other things on their menu. Great ambience and stellar service.

Tofu was cooked perfect. Crispy outside. Fresh veggies, Bibb lettuce. Sweet chili sauce. Pickle platter was ok. Kimchi fell flat but the pickled carrots were good. Food review is 3. Service was awesome and very knowledgeable of the sake they serve. Service was a 5.

Making my rounds through the TC's Ramen shops. So far my favorite over Zenbox and Kyuramen. My wife absolutely loved the Curry Ramen, I very much enjoyed the Classic. I'll say Zenbox might have had a more diverse flavor profile, but I appreciated the clean profile at Moto personally. Best steam buns I've had anywhere yet. Atmosphere was nice, a bit darker than I care for, but fun and service was great.
