Absolutely amazing. Start with the focaccia and the mussels. The honey chevre with the focaccia is so so good. The mussels were in the most delightful broth with gigante beans and chunks of ham. Sop up all the broth with their wonderful toasted sourdough. Get the Apollonia pizza, super crispy crust and the creamiest burrata. The bucatini al amatriciana was wonderful - pasta cooked perfectly and married to the most deliciously spicy sauce. Finish off with their doughscuit bread pudding with semifreddo and a flourless chocolate cake. Superb service, all around a fantastic experience. 100% recommend.

You have nothing to be ashamed of by closing. The city of Minneapolis is completely let you down. Move out to the suburbs were you will be actually appreciated...

We found this spot at the last minute on NYE - so glad we happened to walk by and that seating was available at the bar. We enjoyed dinner so much we returned for brunch the next morning. Definitely make a reservation for a table - table seating was fully reserved both times we went. Service was very friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is relaxed yet refined. The menu is fairly limited but original with daily specials. This is a good place for indulgence - pizza, pasta, and the signature doughscuits (basically a rectangular cronut). Healthier options are limited - most of the veggie sides come with bacon and/or cheese and there were no fresh fruit options on the brunch menu. The bar is well-stocked and the bartender was very happy to accommodate individualized requests.

Had walked by this place so many times and finally got to go. Wait staff was very welcoming and friendly even on a snowy night. The food was delicious and well priced. We will be going back.

We love Mucci's...and not just because it's two blocks away. We come here for every special occasion and the food is always good. The ambience is warm and the staff is top notch. Love the changing menu, wine selection, desserts and especially when they have Burrata. Thanks for being our favorite neighborhood restaurant!

Every dish was well prepared and service was personable and attentive. We ordered the focaccia, Brussels sprouts, and kale appetizers which were top-notch. Brussels sprouts in particular were uniquely prepared and, as an added bonus, topped with cheese and bacon bits for a delectable starter. We split one pizza (Matilda) and one pasta dish (carbonara) and both were greatly portioned and tasted excellent. The semifreddo desert was our only disappointment - slightly too hard for our taste, but sweet and unique nonetheless. A high-quality spot for great Italian food.

Came here with a group of friends and it was overall a really fun and delicious outing! Solid wine list and a short but well varied menu. I split the rigatoni carbonara and the apollonia pizza with focaccia crust with my boyfriend and the pizza was definitely the winner. I honestly didn't like the carbonara.. not the right kind of creamy and almost tasted like blue cheese? I should have tried the cacio e pepe! Hangover kale and Brussels sprouts were also good! Brussels were maybe a little too drenched in cheese and cream for my taste though. Also split the tiramisu with a few people and wow that was really excellent. The layers of cake were perfectly soaked in coffee and the cream was just lick your plate good. Italian eatery is better but this was still a fun place to try!

Best doughcuits (donut) in the Twin Cities! Wish you could get these any day of the week. I brought these to share with family and they all said it's the best donut they've ever eaten. They are like a croissant type dough so it's lightly crispy/flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. The icing is so flavorful and sweet. I'm a fan for life and have recruited other family members to join this doughcuit fan club.

Had a wonderful time here this evening. My family and I got a delicious carbonara rigatoni, tasty tomato and fresh buffalo mozz pizza and a simple yet bold brussel sprouts caesar. Great service, great vibe. All at once rustic, classic, modern, cozy and uniquely Minneapolis.

I had been dying to visit Mucci's since they opened their uptown location, but boy, was I disappointed. The ambiance is amazing, with wicker light fixtures and green plants hanging from the ceiling. The service was also great, with a friendly and attentive server who seemed to know what he was talking about. The food, however, was a different story. We started with mussels which actually weren't too bad. The sauce was good and flavorful and the bread was fluffy and beautifully crisp. The mussels kind of fell apart. The pasta.... woof. Literally. My husband got the lasagna and it quite literally smelled - and tasted - like my dog's dry meals. I got the cacio e pepe, which I knew was going to have a lemon-y twist, I didn't know that meant that it would taste like I was taking a bite directly out of a lemon. It was also really dry, and I found myself coating it in the sauce from the leftover mussel broth. Even just an extra dollop of pasta water would have made this dish much tastier. As I mentioned, I was so looking forward to trying this restaurant, but now I regret having spent my Friday night there.

The kind of place where care goes into the menu. Each item is only on there because it was carefully crafted and prepared to be amazing every time. Some of the best Italian food you'll get in the city in a really fun atmosphere.

Great place for date night! It’s intimate and low key. There was good music playing and the staff were friendly. I had the bisque and was a bit thrown off by it being a cold bisque, but it was good. The pasta and desert were delicious.

Lower lit, intimate seating with an exposed kitchen featuring a wood fire oven; there is also a back bar the opens open to a small tucked in patio. The service at Mucci's was second to none. Extremely friendly staff with extensive knowledge of the menu as well as the daily special. A small group of 5 of us went on a Saturday night for dinner and drinks. We ordered two appetizers to share as well as two pizzas and two pasta dishes. All the food came out in a timely fashion and was cooked to perfection. The cocktail list is fun with some classics as well as house specialities. The beer list is small but features an exclusive Honey Ale from Bang Brewing out of St. Paul, HIVE, which I loved and was a perfect beer with the pizza and pasta. Generally Italian is not my thing but would gladly visit again and explore more of the Flat Bread Pizza menu.
