I love this place! So happy to see one of the original owners back. Same great food, service and prices. The calamari is crisp and delicious. Shrimp saganaki is better than I remember. Watermelon salad is a new favorite. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Muddy Waters is a staple to Lyn Lake. Their coffee remains great, and their food is spectacular. I can't wait until the COVID crisis is over to have the breakfast poutine. In the meantime, I'm grateful that my other favorite item is available for takeout, the Muddy Burger!

Ok I loved their food, it's just $15 for a sandwich with greens didn't seem fully worth it The sandwich was really good. I'll say that! I loved the pepperjack cheese and thought the chicken was juicy and not at all boring. The bread was very soft and I was worried about the bottom bun, but it didn't get too soggy. The greens were also well dressed. They had something citrusy going on that was interesting. The food wasn't bad by any means!!

Truly my favorite restaurant in Minneapolis! I have been obsessed with the mock-duck tacos for years. Whenever I have friends visit from out of town I take them to Muddy's and everyone is always so impressed with the food. So many great options!

I have never had a bad experience here. I moved to town last month and my boyfriend took us here on our first date. We now go weekly, sometimes twice a week. Everything has been exceptional each time.

Amazing bar in the lyn-lake neighborhood. Featuring a strong tap list, solid drinks, and a fantastic menu. All in a stylish and comfortable space. For those going in earlier they also are a full fledged coffee shop. Brunch on weekends and often have events at night. Iff you haven't been here, you need to visit. A true gem of Minneapolis.
This place has a great menu, but it is a bit on the pricier side so I was surprised that it's more casual/hipster on the inside. I ordered the j*** rice bowl for a lighter dinner and the flavors were superb! You could really taste the coconut in the rice, the tofu had a wonderful blood orange j*** sauce, the almonds added a nice crunch, and the zucchini added color and freshness to the dish. I was able to finish all of it and feel satisfied but not full. Would highly recommend! My boyfriend was hungrier and went for the butcher's steak and was served a huge pile of steak and fries with their tasty chimichurri. He is still talking about the fries and how good they were. I agree - it was well done with great flavor.

I've been to muddy waters a couple of times late night and had pretty good service. But i went into brunch this Sunday and our bartender Chloe was amazing. Was super friendly, engaging and attentive. Best service I've had in the last 6 months! I eat out pretty often in the uptown area. Would give chloe 10 stars if i could! Thank you

I keep coming back for Mock Duck tacos. They are amazing. And I appreciate their variety of vegetarian options and good beer. It is a bit loud so don't come to have a heart to heart with a soft spoken friend who tends to whisper. Just a good advice.
