Went with the mixed gyro plate, side of red onion, side of white onion, jalapeno side, light white sauce 1/4 plate on onions, and the hot sauce on all... Don't judge !

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely delicious! I stopped by New York Gyro on Lake Street and was seriously impressed. The lamb chops were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. I also tried the cheeseburger—super fresh, flavorful, and way better than most fast food spots. The service was fast and friendly, and the portions were generous too. Whether you’re craving Middle Eastern flavors or just a good burger, this place hits the spot. Definitely coming back!

I yesterday visited New York Gyro after being away for a month on summer vacation, and I was so happy to be back! As always, I ordered chicken rice and the food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and served just right. But this time, I noticed a new girl working there whom I hadn’t seen before. She was super friendly, professional, and added such a positive vibe to the place.
Even though it was her first time helping me, she handled everything smoothly and made the experience even better. It’s always nice to see great service along with great food. New York Gyro continues to be one of my favorite spots, and now it feels even more welcoming. I am feeling guilty somewhere cause I really wanted to give her tip but my card wasn’t working so I couldn’t but still she was really sweet. Can’t wait to go back again soon! Meet her and have to try new dishes.

The girl at the register has given me the wrong change twice. if your change is not an amount that’s equal to quarters, they will steal your money.
Never again. Cubed gyro meat, cold, stale and unflavorful fries aren’t it. Sorry. And there’s absolutely no parking. High prices too.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Ordered through Uber Eats — food showed up tampered with. One of the meals was clearly eaten into, the other looked half full. This is the second time I’ve had issues with this place (first was through DoorDash). Not only that, but the food took over an hour to arrive, and it still came cold. Clearly they don’t care about hygiene, presentation, or customers. Never again. Avoid this place if you value your health and time.
