I’ve been waiting for so long for this spot to open and it didn’t disappoint. Interior is calm, beautiful and so very thoughtfully designed and furnished. The menu is small and specialized and there was definitely something for everyone in my group. I adored the seaweed salad, tempura and hand rolls! Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the offerings.

Gem of a place! Cozy atmosphere and excellent food. From the owner of Okome House, this is a lovely addition to the neighborhood.

I think this restaurant may just be a little too gimmicky for me. The food is good, but not great. The interior is clean and very spare, but pleasantly lit and the service seems competent. The focus seems to be on New York style sushi, which apparently is just really hard to eat and comes with a bunch of extra plastic wrapping.

For a change of pace — for someone who’s looking for novelty maybe that’s great but for me it just makes one of my favorite foods sort of offputting. The dishes we had were fine, but now that I’ve tried it, I don’t really want to come back.

This may be a different story in spring and summer since their patio looks absolutely beautiful.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Nokko. My partner and I celebrated his birthday here on a Saturday evening with reservations. I would recommend making a reservation as the area is very small with limited tables. It gives up scale vibes, generally good service and tasty food. Parking sucks. Show up early to find parking in the parking lot or the neighborhood.

Food: The udon and Ebi tempura definitely stood out. I would highly recommend the Ebi appetizer! We also enjoyed the hand rolls and chirashi bowl. Everything tasted pretty good. The menu is still fairly small so hoping to come back another time. Drinks are strong. Did not like the matcha cocktail they offer however.

Service: No big complaints to service. It was on the slower side; however, it was a Saturday night and busy. No worries. Our waitress was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. The hostess was able to accommodate to a last minute change (different table) which was nice!

Atmosphere: I enjoyed the atmosphere that was offered. Low lighting and minimalistic. It feels very upscale.

Overall, hoping to come again in the summer as they have a patio! Curious to see how the vibes would be then.

We enjoyed dinner at Nokko House, which reminded us of our travels in Japan. The hand rolls were a bit messy, but good amount of fish. The udon w shrimp was good. Had a bit of issues w timing since the udon came out well before the hand rolls. The frozen Kirin was interesting and would be great for the patio in the summer time. Overall would have like a bit more selection, but it was fairly inexpensive and good quality.

Nokko House is such an exciting new addition to the area. The service was phenomenal, especially for a newer restaurant, and everything we ordered was flawless. The vibe is very cool and zen, and it’s surprisingly kid friendly without losing that elevated feel.

The hand roll sushi is so much fun and such a unique offering. The combos make it easy to try different temaki and everything was fresh and delicious. We also tried the Ichiban frozen beer and it was awesome, really unique and definitely worth ordering. The cocktails were great too.

Food-wise, the udon was a standout. The broth was probably the best I’ve ever had. The chicken tempura was fantastic, light, crisp, and so flavorful. The salmon tartare was to die for and perfect for sharing. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion.

They were able to fit us in despite being super busy. Recommend making a reservation. Good service. Tasty rolls. They also have a great kids menu (udon includes blueberry, green beans, and juice box). All the rolls were tasty - especially the scallop one!

We loved Nokko House! We live near their other restaurant Okome House and we're very excited to see them open this place up. It's a more upscale iteration - sit down, table service, cool cocktails! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was cool. The food was very yummy and the drinks were dope! I'm especially excited about the bar program. We sat at a table but there's also a cool, moody bar in back. Looking forward to going again!

The cocktails are delightful, elegant and strong! the food was delicious, using high quality ingredients and clearly made with care. The tofu served with the kitsune Udon soup was some of the best I've ever had (photo is a bit messy because I ate some before thinking to snap a pic). I also can't wait for warmer weather to come back and enjoy the patio!

So incredibly impressed by our first visit to Nokko! Cocktails were great-favorites included the green hour & tomato cheeks. Loved the udon noodles-delicious savory broth. And the temaki/hand rolls were delicious and a new experience for us both. Fantastic service & ambiance. Highly recommend & can’t wait to return.

The temaki sushi, hand-rolled sushi, is so crisp and fresh, it surprised me with joy. The thoughtfull little subtleties like the GF soy, tamari, using droppers as dispensers reflect the careful attention to details at Nokko House. Whether it's for nice Japanese whiskey, or yummy tempura, make this place a regular visit.

Nokko felt like the perfect addition to the community, and I can’t wait to see how it molds and transforms! Sushi and wine were great and noteably high quality.. the lighting could be a bit dimmer for an evening meal in my personal opinion. I definitely recommend for those coming from near or far!
