The food was delicious - we had a couple of onigiris, pork udon, and pork donburi, and I’m looking forward to trying the other items. It’s a cute little neighborhood spot, and staff were polite. Be aware that it is counter service. They bring your food to the table, but get your own utensils and bus your dishes, which I don’t think justifies the suggested gratuity you’re presented with.

I lived in Japan over a decade ago and have not found a restaurant in MN where smells and tastes brought forward so much nostalgia The onigiri, curry udon, and Tayaki were all exquisite. This is a new favorite for us and are looking forward to being back soon!

My only complaint about this restaurant is that it's not closer to me. Though maybe that's a good thing since I'd eat here way too often

I had the onigiri combo, with ebi mayo, tuna mayo, and yuzu salmon. All of them were lovely, clean flavors, warm and the perfect size to fill my stomach without overdoing it.
