We made reservations to go there Saturday at 6:30 and the restaurant was close. There was no notification that they were closed or any notices put in the window that they were not open for business.

Food was great. Best fried rice we've had in a while. What's not great is that the person who bought this place decided not to figure out how to handle outstanding gift cards. If they had opened a completely new restaurant and didn't borrow the name of the old I'd understand, but they bought the whole business and need to honor it's obligations. I was told twice the old gift card would be honored but when it came to adjust the bill they wouldn't. I even had the receipt for the original gift card purchase. They said they'd follow up, but didn't.

Excellent Sushi and Japanese cuisine! The atmosphere is quaint with small personal service. Plating is beautiful and the food is so very good. Cost is average to medium. If you are in the area and looking for sushi this is the place to go.Parking: No customer parking. Will need to meter park nearby or use the apartment parking ramp at a cost.

I've been here twice now, and it's phenomenal every time. I love the small, intimate setting. The servers are wonderful. And the food is the best part. The first time I was here, I tried some sort of shrimp fried rice dish that was the best I've ever had. This most recent time, I tried the spicy salmon rolls with a variety of negiri. Everything had so much flavor and the negiri options nearly melted in my mouth. My boyfriend tried the ramen and that was also great. On top of that, their plum wine is my guilty pleasure. It's SO GOOD. 10/10 recommend.

The food was really good and I loved the decor but I was really bothered with the women bathroom. The roll of toilet paper was sitting on the side I had to put that in and then there was no hand soap. The most bothersome part was that an employee had used it right before me. So I guess she didn’t washed her hands…

I was walking back to my car after a show and the smell from this place lured me in. The service here is undoubtedly the best I've experienced in a long time. They went totally above and beyond. I'm really excited to come back here. ?

I popped by to bide some time before a date. Had a few drinks. The staff could not be more courteous. If you have an opportunity, I recommend stopping by for a cocktail or a flight of sake. I cannot speaker for the food at present as I have not partaken in it yet.

The food was quite good, except the black widow rolls ( $20 ), but it’s somewhat small. I think they only used half soft shell crab.I think there were some issues we didn’t like overall. First, the chicken wings on the menu says 5 pieces, but it came only 4. We asked the waitress. She said it is because the wings are bigger so it comes only 4. Seriously? Then you should say that on the menu. Besides, they were not that big.Second, we saw some items actually charged us more on the bill than the menu said. For example, deluxe platter we were charged $35 something before tax, but the menu was $32.95; Ramen was $15 something before tax, the menu was $14.95. We didn’t want to argue for the few dollars. We just wanted to leave.Third, they charge 3% extra if customers pay by credit card. I have never heard of that charge in any restaurant in the US. We felt we got lots of extra charges plus tips.

We really enjoyed our experience and loved everything we had! We started with the crab rangoons and they were so delicious - tasted really fresh. Our drinks were super tasty too, I would definitely order the mango martini and the lychee martini again. We got the kani salad which was so good, and our rolls were amazing too! Super cute place and our server was great too. I will definitely be returning!

I enjoy coming to this place because of the variety of the menu. My friend and I went all out and ordered Crab Rangoon, two rolls and a bowl of ramen. The Crab Rangoon was good but nothing special. The special roll (description in picture) is one of the most delicious bites I have ever eaten. The flavors are so fresh and delicious together. The sweet heart roll was also very yummy. The Ramen was good. It is a nice spot and I am always surprised how slow they are. The parking ramp is pay to park but gives a nice option to park right at the restaurant in a city where parking to eat can be a nightmare. Overall I highly recommend and suggest you try the special if they have it when you are there!

A legendary sushi destination. Great atmosphere, menu selection and priced fairly for what you get. Been going to the various locations since the 90s and it's never disappointed.
