It’s a great Mexican grocery store located in Crystal. It can be a zoo because it’s a small store and many customers show up at once. There are only 1-2 registers open so this can be a bottleneck. There is a meat market, veggies, dessert shop, ice cream shop and even a tiny restaurant. Try their beef barbacoa and the barbacoa de borrego. They do a good job 100%. The store is like a labyrinthine because everywhere you turn there is a room. By the bakery in the back there is even a dinning area with tables and chairs. There is also a tiny salsa bar. You got to like a place like that for the character, the vibe and the authenticity. And while you are at it get Oaxaca cheese 🧀 and nopales ;)

Pricey but good products

The prices are ridiculously high! 🤯

Despite not being part of my culture or heritage, I don't feel unwelcome here. The majority of the shoppers are friendly and while I am teaching myself spanish, the language barrier is not bad. I like the assortment of food stuff and being able to purchase affordable queso fresco and not paying incredibly high prices at cub or Walmart. I like it here and will ne back for the myriad of good stuff!

I put it one star because you know that there is security He stopped us because he said that we couldn’t bring a bag and the bag was from T-Mobile because we had just bought a new phone and he stopped us because he said that we couldn’t not bring a bag inside Even if other people brought bags inside the store, he didn’t say nothing. He told us to leave so we left. I didn’t like the service.

Just make the drive to westside, El Burrito is way better in every single way.

The bread he sells has too much egg and cannot be eaten because of the smell.

Some people who sell stews are not friendly at all, some are.

You serve well! But the girls are sometimes rude and have no customer services!

Terrible service with the cashiers, they are bad-tempered, they are angry with Mala Cara, they humiliate people and you go to buy, not to ask for something you don't know for free. They realize that they eat the money you spend, that's what they eat.

I asked for a meatless burrito with everything else on it and cashier already couldn’t understand me but she cut my burrito in half with the same knife used to cut a pork burrito! I tried to ignore it then found some random object in my burrito. The day before cashier skipped over me to help a spanish speaking customer although I was there first and also on my lunch break. I hope this is a learning curve and please be mindful of the area and customers that you’re serving. Not everyone speaks spanish and not everyone eats meat. I wont be back too much to order everytime.

The worst service I have ever seen in my life, the attitude of the cashiers is completely unpleasant, it seems like you are coming to order a gift. And I imagine that the requirement to work in this store is to be rude and overbearing. What an unpleasant experience.

Their prices are an exaggeration, mangoes at almost $4 each, although it is true that they are exported products but I do not think that the prices should be so high and exaggerated, not to mention the fact that THEY DO NOT SET THE PRICES.
