Did not fully cook the shell of my chicken nacho lupitas and when I called said they didn’t know my order when I was up there less than 20 minutes ago. I grew up on these and never had the inside of my shell so doughy that it breaks when I pick it up as well as it able to bend when I pick it up.

Flavor and quality is average but solid. Pepitos has been here a long time and know how to make a burrito. Nothing exceptional though. One point knocked off for labeling the door that leads to the bathroom as “employees only.” This is a restaurant that serves food meant to be handled without utensils. There are tables and chairs. You don’t get to close your bathroom to patrons. Hygiene is important.

Had a great time coming here for takeout. I used to love Pepito's over on Chicago Ave. The tacos are just as I remember. It was a treat. I'll be coming back often. Vaya con dios Joe!
This place has seriously gone downhill. It's too bad, it used to be great. No napkins, no utensils, even if your order needs them. The tables are so wobbly that my drink fell and smashed all over the floor.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants years ago. It was family owned, and everything was made fresh and from scratch, today’s order was quite different. The food tasted bland and old and definitely did not taste fresh. This will be our last time going there as both my husband and I got stomach aches after eating. I only give one star if I have to throw the food away. We did eat it.
