Little hole in the wall place with the same staff and service for years. I love the pho, the broth is so flavorful! Also love the shrimp eggrolls!

The lady added the tip by herself and she added extra tax. When i asked for explanation, I could not understand her english because she was speaking very vaguely almost intentionally. She calculated tax and tip on paper which I do not understand. Idk just be careful. Our group was very upset as we left. We paid extra 20 dollars for reasons we do not know.

Pho 79 has fed me through my 15 years in Minneapolis and the quality has never wavered. I prefer their vermicelli salad as they use romaine lettuce, the meat is seasoned perfect, and their portions are a bit bigger. Sesame chicken is nice and crispy, and the pho is always a hit.

okay I had to share that I’ve had serval pho from different restaurants, it’s good but nothing really stands out and presentation were better in the picture but I don’t mind it. My boyfriend ordered Bahn mi sandwiches and the bread were hard. I gave 3 stars because of the Spring rolls and Fried Spring rolls they were delicious.. Overall I love the atmosphere and service, our server was really nice.

Been awhile since I’ve gotten pho, but I didn’t think it was supposed to have uncooked noodles & raw ribeye. Don’t know if it was the way I ordered, but the broth would have been no where near high enough temp to have poured it in & not eaten raw meat.
Reddit gave me too high expectations and the food was mid, desserts were worse. Service people were super nice but the atmosphere and taste was lacking.

This review is only for the Vietnamese coffee. That's all I had. After being let down at numerous cafes and restaurants that claim to have authentic Vietnamese coffee, I came across this wonderful place. They did it the way it is supposed to, drip coffee over condensed milk. Sweet and creamy. Loved it. Will come again!

We ordered a regular pho and a pot of catfish. The pho is soft and the soup is yummy. The catfish is outstanding even though it’s a little salty. It is perfect with white rice. Wish they could add some green vegetables in the pot for a more balanced diet!
