Cozy and cool slice of Linden Hills. The menu has something for everyone, even a few kids options. Super friendly staff!

Kid-friendliness: High chairs and kids options available! Staff is very friendly and accommodating to kids.

I have yet to eat a bite of food at Picnic, and yet, trust me on these drinks. A few visits confirmed the wine list is super legit, and the cocktails (bourbons!) have a lot to offer, too. Go before a burger at Le Burger or stay. It’ll be good either way.

Excellent! Picnic is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. The menu is short and varied; everything we ordered was delicious and it's fun seeing it prepared in the little corner kitchen. Our daughter loved the kids platter and even had a few mussels!

i work a restaurant across the street, this bar is my safe haven. i come here a few times a week and always get the best service. all the bartenders call me pink bubbles because that’s always what i order and already have a glass poured as soon as i sit down. i love you picnic ❤️❤️

Quaint amazing restaurant nestled in Linden Hills and very close to Lake Harriet. Strong not sugary drinks made with high quality liquor and ingredients. Get some butter - I know, but it's so so good. Also the olives are to die for. Old fashioned was extremely good. Great selection of alcohol and great food. Will definitely go back

Casual yet refined experience. Ate dinner here with a group of 6. Enjoyed the duck, trout, pasta, and several nibbles. Fun relaxed vibe, solid service, and the food was excellent. An easy going bar feel with a small kitchen where the food came out as it was prepared. Will definitely be back. The drinks were strong, which is a welcome relief after so many new places in town charge outrages prices for sugary cocktails with no booze. We ate on the back patio (more of an alley). It was quiet and had a space for our kids to play with some toys and not be a bother.

Wow. The hot dog was the best I’ve ever had in Minnesota. Maybe the best I’ve had outside of Chicago. Not something I would normally order at a place like this but it was late night and just wanted something light. Perfection.

This place has a lot of potential, my only concern is the service. The bartenders seemed cold and disinterested.

Love this new spot! We enjoyed the bandshell board and the mussels. The pink bubbles and other wines were great too! Don’t leave without having a hot dog!!
