Great views, incredible vibes, especially when there’s live music. The food is fantastic and at a good price. The service always sucks but at least you know what to expect lol 10/10 recommend

Jerk chicken has no flavor or spice, I guess it's to the making palate of the neighborhood. Rice and beans with sauce is decent. Jerck chicken 2/10, rice and beans 7/10, plantains 9/10. Entree for $20, not worth it.

First timers, we found the kiosk a little difficult to order from, but got a nice dish with enough food for two for lunch. It wasn't too spicy, but experienced patrons can amp it up.

I ordered a chic patty that was empty. I also ordered Jamaican slaw that literally was dry Cole slaw out of a bag. Worst food ever.

A bit pricey but nice to have it outdoors for the short Minnesota season. Great staff and good food.

Nothing haunts this place, but one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Especially for $30

Pimento has food that makes you feel at home!! You can sit and overlook the lake while crushing some delicious Jamaican cuisine, what can be better? Oh and they play reggae on the speakers outside a lot of the time, so the vibe is just right!! The jerk here is the real deal & the sauces have spice levels - beware of the spicier options they have a nice kick!! Go to pimento & get some yummy food, you won’t regret it!!! Oh and also try their horchata, it’s so friggin good.

Do not go here if you have dietary restrictions, especially gluten (note: I do not have celiac). They have no information on the menus, or behind the counter, and the employees were clueless (in a last ditch effort, I called the Nicollet location, and the person I spoke with—the 7th staff member I talked to—said the fries were most likely gluten free; when I pushed back, describing their texture, she agreed that yes, I was right and that they were probably battered. (So, even now, it’s not definitive!) Of course I had already ordered them, after listening to the second employee who said they were gluten free. Later it was revealed that she thought I had asked if they were SEASONED 🤷‍♀️🤯😹. They did offer to rectify it and refund it but only after a ton of bs and a near miss for me.

The curries should be gluten free, remembering their og menu. But then someone else was saying to avoid that menu so basically I’m not sure anyone there knows what gluten is. For a highly trafficked location it’s pretty shocking.

Also, I used to frequent the original location and almost always had positive experience there with the curries. I’ve now eaten twice at this location and maybe they were off days but the flavors were really lacking and out of balance and portions were pretty weak.

Expensive i can tolerate if i know what i'm getting into, but this place has shady charging practices. Why did they charge me an extra $2.50 to put meat on a sandwich, for which there are two options on the description, chicken and pork? You're saying if i didn't specify a meat and pay the extra $2.50 on top of the $15 sandwich you'd just give me a piece of bread with a spoonful of slaw and two plantain slices? Don't put it in the base description for the menu item if it's an extra charge; be clear on the menu that it costs extra. Also the nonalc drink price was not on the menu and $7 for a tiny plastic cup!

I understand the lakeside property upcharge is a thing, but this was shady territory. Anyway, food was fine, but I'm not going to come back.

The order taker was so rude and unprofessional. I asked for no slaw with my order and she made me feel like I asked her to climb Mt. Everest. Needless to say, $34 later, the slaw was still on my food. Glad I didn’t tip because I already knew she didn’t care. Definitely won’t be back since the hospitality is non-existent here.
